I'm crushed that you're leaving in these circumstances. The atmosphere has indeed become stifling-I find myself walking on eggshells around here so as not to offend anyone and that is unacceptable.

I do wish you could continue with your threads. Every time I log in, I always gravitate to your threads; in fact, I think they're the only threads I frequent and comment on in a regular basis. Recently, I discovered a friend of mine watched Jodha Akbar also and I pointed her to your threads on I-F and she loved your writing so much so in fact that she had started reading your posts regularly.

As for me, I am sorely going to miss your worldly wisdom and insight along with that Shyamala ji brand of humor - I have laughed so many times reading your posts that it gave me more amusement than the show ever did. You have such a way of connecting and understanding people across all age lines that at times I could not tell whether I was talking to someone my own age or a person many years older who had lived several lifetimes because of the wisdom she had to share with her readers.

We all have to do what is best for ourselves - if something does not agree with our value system then we will have to either compromise on those values (An undesirable option) or find something that does mesh with our values and principles.

I hope you will start a blog and write whenever you feel inspired without the restrictions that the forum imposes - I would love to be a part of that. Nevertheless, I will sorely miss your threads and the lively discussions they used to kindle. With you leaving, I will have to reevaluate if I want to stick around in this forum!
