It is very sweet of you, but you do not understand, my dear. How can I write freely with such shackles - of PMs and warning levels? I cannot write unless I feel comfortable; and besides it is comical, that I should be weighing every word of mine to see if it will pass the obscure and inconsistent tests of the admin here.

I had initially thought that it was a one off matter, but it is not. It is a systematic and deliberate exercise, as I see it, and I have seen it in the PR forum and DKDM forum as well (where it had to do with the 'real' Shiva Purana) though there I was not affected personally. For all the talk of the rules applying to everyone, it is very clear, as you yourself point out, that they do not. And one cannot fight the administration anywhere, for the power equations are lopsided and they make the rules.

The only way out would be a huge protest to the very top, which I have seen happen, when a closed thread in one forum was reopened by sheer pressure of member opinion. But I do not think that kind of effort would be worthwhile just for me! I do not want it, and in any case, the basic situation, of the discriminatory application of the rules, such as they are, would not change.

This is not a war for the nation, Munni dear, where one cannot quit and one indulges in guerrilla tactics, like Shivaji Maharaj did, because the stakes are too high and one simply cannot walk away. This is just a forum, and not even a huge one like many others, about a TV serial that does not satisfy any of us at any time. So why should I or you or anyone else care what happens in it, who dominates it, who prevails?

But I promise you that unless you yourself choose to, you will not lose touch with me. I have far too much affection for all of you, and I value your affection for me, that you have given me so abundantly and extravagantly (see, I cannot help quoting; that was from Pandit Nehru's will!), to allow that to happen.
