I am very sad to hear you are leaving but I can undersand how you feel and respect your decision. I always enjoy reading your posts as you make me understand more Jalals POV. I think its a good idea to start your own blog where you will feel free to write whatever you want. Please do PM me as would love to continue reading your posts.

Ps: One thing is for sure, IF forum wont be the same for Jalals fans as your threads are the only ones they feel free to comment.

This is so not fair. I was a silent reader on the forum. Only your posts compelled me to comment on your threads. And now you are quitting. Aunty, more rhan any of us present on this forum you have the mist experience. So come on Aunty, you do know that people do behave foolishly sometime. Because of those few times you are kind of punishing rest of your clan. We are used to your witty posts, funny rejoinders, stern warnings and most of all the warm affection. You are depriving us all of that.

I'm sure you would scold me for trying to blackmail you emotionally. But honestly aunty I'm not. I don't want you to quit. This forum is about expressing your thoughts freely. And you have NEVER offended anybody. So please don't let those mods notes affect you. Aunty we all promise to behave. If you want just for the responses on your threads we can start a separate thread so that your thread remains clean. But please don't leave the forum.

Aunty, your idea of a blog is excellent. I'd love to read them too. But Aunty, this forum won't be same without you and your solos. So to keep the quality of the forum I want you to post here too. So that all the newcomers wouldn't miss on that. Please aunty, I'm urging you to reconsider once.

Shyamla I have one idea, u can do the blog thing which is far better than this forum, but to keep the forum going make one post per week, I will start the post whenever you ready with ur write up and post in my post that way if anyone makes a bad comment I can take the brunt that way u do not have to deal with it, but u will have to pm to ur loyal readers.

Mandy even I thought the same. That I can be Shyamala Anty's postman. But frankly speaking this shouldn't be required. This supposed to be a free forum. As long as there are no religious racial political comments, it should be okay. I don't get the moral policing policies.

Aunty, please please reconsider. The newcomers won't know about the blogs and would miss on theese most amazing posts of yours.

This is just to let you know that I do not plan to do any more standalone posts. I am tired of this forum and the kind of things that go on here, not to speak of the show itself. I do not want DT notes and Mod notes on everyone of my threads either. If the forum is going to be run on the basis of vociferous complaints by one segment of the membership, and I get dragged into it, it is hardly the sort of thing I want to be in at my age. While I have loved being here because of all of you, this sort of thing, which is completely new to me, is not for me.

As it is, I am always short of time and I feel perennially guilty about not responding to many of your comments. And in any case, I have never lasted more than 6 months in any of the other 3 IF forums I have been in before dropping out because of sheer ennui, and that deadline is long gone.

As many of you might be aware, I wanted to leave last October, but Lashy and many others held me back by sheer emotional blackmail. But not now. I have had it.

So please carry on, my dearest girls, on this thread till it becomes too long even for you or is closed down, or on your own threads, and the best of luck to all of you. I know that many of you will miss me and my posts, which is the one thing I feel bad about. You must forgive me, my dears, and then again, it is not the end of the world! You will all carry on very well without me, and in a few weeks, you will be surprised to realise how little it matters. Believe me, it is true.

I love you all, very much, and you can always contact me when you want to, by PMs or e-mail. I hope many of you will stay in touch with me, as many have from my old forums.

Lovely. This forum has finally managed to drive away the one person they should be proud of. Sorry for not coming here Aunty, but I find this forum poisonous, generally terrible to my sanity. So I just don't come anymore.
