For those who want to know of the KS incident - yes there is a record of a man in the guise of a KS entering Akbar's harem.
Yes some of the members of the royal household tried to link the said man with HK

No Akbar did not doubt her - but yes he did Q her.

As per what I have read of this - since historical records are only linear narratives - it says that though some tried to blame the beloved begum of the Shahenshah, he dismissed it after questioning her and getting to know that she was unaware of such a presence.

As for identity - the records do not mention who it was or why he was there - but since no one was harmed it did not seem to be an entry with harmful intent - As for the show - they are embellishing the event, which is their prerogative - but yes this incident did happen.

Interestingly, since the name of the begum was not mentioned, this incident has been used by someone in the form of a short story - where HK's name has not been mentioned - and he has created this into a greek tragedy - which was the reason I went into finding out more about it - said story is a part of a book of short stories on the begums of Mughal kings and can be found in the Nehru Memorial library in Delhi.

Abhay thanks for sharing these photos. The painting and colors are stunning. I especially loved the 1st and 4th photos. The colors look so vibrant and paints are glowing even after 450 years! What craftsmanship and artistic ability these artisans had! I had read they used vegetable dyes or in places like palaces they actually used real gems and gold and silver! Even colors used to be made from them!

Look at the colors vibrancy and glow in 1st & 4th painting. If they are looking so majestic today what they would have looked like 450 years back? Akbar certainly knew how to spend his khajina! Gold and silver and gems can be looted away but buildings remain as proof.

All the photos Ela has post here, I feel as if they are living proof of Jodha & Akbar's real love. How much he must have loved her to do all this for her. She was adored and pampered and respected also.

If only we can go back in history just to take a quick peek at them!

Posting some of them. 😊

Below, i have given a description also.

Just try to find what is showcased in the vase type engraving in above pic.

Akbar's tomb stands in the midst of a vast garden, enclosed by four high walls.
In the centre: of each wall is an imposing gateway seventy feet high. The principal one, on the west side, has an inscription in Persian, which states that the mausoleum was completed by Jahangir, in 1613

The mausoleum was commenced by Akbar himself. It is different in plan from any other
Mughal monument, and, contrary to the usual Muhammadan custom, the head of the tomb of
Akbar is turned towards the rising sun, and NOT towards Mecca.

The original design was somewhat modified by Jahangir. He has stated in his memoirs that on
his first visit to the tomb after his assession he was dissatisfied with the work done, and ordered certain parts of it to be rebuilt.

The Emperor's armour, clothes, and books, which were placed beside the tomb,
are said to have been carried off by the marauders who caused a lot of damage to this in 1691.

Smaller chambers surrounding the central one, on the level of the platform, contain the tombs of
two of Akbar's daughters and also son of the Emperor Shah Alam
. These also have suffered much from neglect and whitewash. The whole of the facade of the lower story was originally faced with red sandstone.

The present coat of plaster is modern work, which, except as a protection for the brickwork.

In the centre, on a raised platform, is a solid block of pure white marble, delicately carved with flowers kind sacred texts, representing tile real tomb in tile vault beneath.. (this pic is posted on previous page.)

At tile head is tile inscription, "Allah-o-Akbar" , and at the foot, "Jalli
Jalaluhu" (magnificent be his Glory). These sentences were the motto of "The Divine Faith - Tauhid-e-IIlahi" .

On the sides the ninety-nine attributes of God are carved in the Arabic.
The carved marble pedestal at the end was a stand for a golden censer.

Yes. Sujamal entered Harem in REALITY . 😲

He came to meet HK.

Akbar suspected HK in REALITY also.😳 Briefly only.

(Please do NOT make theories on this,😊 i will update later. NO WHERE i found that jodha was banished to Amer.(as per movie) šŸ˜•)

Sujamal while escaping from the Agra Fort in REALITY killed many Mughal Soldiers.

Sujamal DID WON Mewat from Mughal Forces in REALITY with an army size of 1:8 or 1:6 (i forgot thisšŸ˜•) in comparison to Mughal forces.😲

He was a WARRIOR... A class warrior . ! .

For this reason, Akbar acknowledged his bravery and wanted him to join his service.

For this he asked Raja Bharmal to give him share of his "thikanas/gaddi" to rule. But he died before this could happen.

Rest i will write as a separate update. Please WAIT.!.😊
Till then have to answer others here.!.

Reference:
This is given in

1. Vansamwamnali by Jan Alam. This is in Persian language. (I am 99% sure of this book. I will inform the exact book soon. )
2. Jaipur State Records.

Credit:
No credit to me. But to my friend who informed about this from Jaipur. (from the startingšŸ˜‰)
Rajputana history sources are found in Bikaner and Jaipur prominently.

Moral:

Isn't history of HK-Akbar different / STRANGEšŸ˜‰ from that of ANY other royal couple.?.😊

These incidents are enough to make it EPIC..!!!..

Abhay, is it meant cvs have just taken the concept of sujamal's entry in jala's harem's part from history but the rest is showing his purpose for entering in harem is for saving jalal's life from assassin is fictional?
