Actually, I think she has more of an emotional and mental stranglehold on him than he has on her... what she does affects him more... he observes her more...wants her validation more...obsesses over her more...overall, he is more passionately in love with her than she is with him at this stage...
even in their latest scene she refers to them as 'friends' 😊

Lash, I see Radhika's point and what Jalal is undergoing right now is' unrequited love syndrome'. I coined this term right now. Will file patent later...lol.
But he is obsessed with the fact that she does not return his passionate emotion with similar passion. But in this scenario, if I see from Jo's point of view, she is innocent. Perhaps she is just not passionate in that manner at all... perhaps love of the passisnate variety was not on her requirements list in a marriage. Jalal can pick and choose who to fall in love with and perhaps it irks him that although he can fall for any woman and expect that woman to follow suite... this particular woman does not fall for him even though he has done the whole bricks falling exercise many times over for her...

At this stage, I'd still say he's more passionate than frighteningly obsessed... 😊

Lord! He's not at all like Darr/Agnisakshi characters. Had he been so, by now, he would have put her in a can of hot oil by now, not, kept brooding after seeing her with another man for 2 days in a row.

She almost got him killed by the tiger, insulted him left right center during the initial days of their marriage, preferred to end their marriage before her mother gave her a verbal tsunami, has basically barged in on on him everywhere, DEK, DEA, hammam, even tried when he was with another beghum. Prior to Ben track, her behaviour has been boorish from every angle, wow, right now after listing all these, I think he makes a perfect hubby material. 😆

Same here
These onscreen portrayals can never beat the real deal, can they? 😉

and I'm with neena on this one.. NONE of the onscreen husbands are worthy husband materials in real life.. except possibly Naitik and Suraj.. but, even Suraj has stood back and watched his wife get insulted intially and Naitik sent Akshara away when she was ok with the Nandini-Mohit pairing...😉

i would completely agree with u ..

real life is opposite of fiction

I dunno if she'a desirable wife material, that's for men to decide, but I know she a perfect feminist, she knows what she wants and gets bull-headed about it often, she's assertive, when she says a no, it means a no, I think she needs to cultivate a bit of patience and diplomacy. 😊

😆 Neena, even I'm curious to know who wants a wife like Jodha !
A straight no from me, she is definitely not my inspiration 😆 If I even try to behave like her my beau will laugh at me and make a fool out of me 😳
