Why Jalal didn't answer Jodha - like u said, he doesn't want her to think he suspects her. He himself doesn't know why he is angry with her and he doesn't want her to misunderstand. In order to avoid an MU, both are heading for a far greater MU.
There's another reason, which has nothing to do with the plot. I feel this track is being dragged on till the PS case is resolved.
Jalal, being unable to voice his doubts, is getting irritated with himself and he is none too happy for having been attracted to Jodha in a drunken state. (Why drunken, he is attracted to her even when sober. Why else does he deliberately saunter towards her and reach for that water cup in such a seductive manner? He just doesn't want to go but has to put on an act in front of her. 😉)
That self-irritation is being let out on Jodha. Sad but true. All married women will agree that husbands find their wives the most convenient punching bags whenever they are in any tension, which has absolutely nothing to do with their wives. 😆 So far, I won't say he is deliberately insulting Jodha.
What is awful is his blurting out to Ruq about Jodha meeting a stranger. It is possible that he may have fallen asleep and mumbled questions to Jodha about why she was meeting a stranger. Ruq may have overheard him. Because while he was awake, he had no plan to tell Ruq anything. When he woke up in Ruq's room, this "dream" may have weighed on his mind and that's why he goes to Jodha to actually ask her these questions.
The CVs are making fools of us in this track.
1. Most forum members believed there would be no MU in this track. But the MU is building up and how!
2. It was supposed to be a short track, going by the Tata Sky spoiler. But it's dragging on.
3. It was supposed to show the downfall of MA and may be Ruq. But like the Phoenix, they refuse to be felled. They keep rising stronger from their failures.
4. Jalal was supposed to have been freed from their grip after the Ben track and the Murty Kand. But we can see he is still very much in their grip.
5. The soul talks and Chisti's prophecies are all fraud.
Precap: I feel Jalal was referring to Ruq when he said people should be put in their place. Jodha may have misunderstood and likely Ruq too.
MA is again making plans to incriminate Jodha by planting evidence in that hut. Maybe Ruq is with her in this ploy. This time, she will show such fabricated proof, Jalal will have no option but to send Jodha away to protect the "Mughal honour". I don't personally like this notion. But this is what a lot of members wanted when Jodha started meeting Sujamal. Members were asking how a queen could behave like this and she should be punished (as even Bharmal would not have spared her).
From Monday onwards, it is going to be very difficult to watch JA till the reconciliation begins, whenever that may be. But that forehead kiss is reassuring, like light at the end of the tunnel. However, in this picture, both are in royal dress. Doesn't seem like in the jungle. If they do meet in the jungle and there are tears and making ups, won't the kiss happen then? Will they wait to come back to the palace before they kiss and make up?
Regarding consummation: I had asked in my post whether Jodha would be able to trust Jalal after this track. The majority said yes, Jalal will convince her by saying he was feeling jealous and possessive about her. So why the doubts now about the consummation? If she trusts him and realizes she loves him, she will be ready for him. If there is no consummation, it means Jodha doesn't yet fully trust him.
Hoshiyar: He may simply be lying about his birthday. May be a plan by MA/Ruq to trap Jodha. He is still loyal to Ruq only and will never switch to Jodha's side. It's a pity that Jodha is so innocent and kind. She is taken for a ride by almost everyone.
Advice to Jodha: She should keep her team of HB, SB, Man Singh, MH in the loop always, so that she can rely on them if she is in trouble.
