Liked the "why did u bring me here" dialog. Reminded me of a story read long back in my childhood. Once Akbar was very angry with his queen. The queen had no name in the story, but we can assume it was the MUZ 😆 He told her to go to her parents' place and that she could take with her whatever was precious to her. In the middle of the night, she got some servants to carry a sleeping Akbar to her parents' place (being a children's story, there was no concept of time and distance then 😆). When he got up in the morning and found himself in his in-laws' house, he was quite irate with his queen. But she simply told him that he had given her permission to carry off whatever was precious to her and nothing was more precious to her than Akbar!

Loved Jalal's expressions in both the "chori pakdi gayi" scenes. 😆 He deliberately went near her to drink water. He didn't want to leave but had to put on an act.

I think the CVs are deliberately showing an angry Jalal so that he can look convincing when he packs off Jodha. In the last scene, he may have got self-conscious that he was lost in Jodha's portrait when he should have been angry with her. So he may have put on an act of greater anger than he felt when she suddenly came in and broke his reverie.

Why does Jalal pretend so much that he doesn't like Jodha in front of Ruq? Today also, he dismissed Jodha offhand in front of Ruq and even let her do his "khidmat" (though his expressions didn't seem to be too happy during the service - in contrast, when Jodha had bathed him in the early days of their marriage, he had a smug look on his face!) One day, I hope he tells Ruq exactly what Jodha means to him. I want to see Ruq's face then.

Precap: I think Jalal was referring to Ruq when he said people should be put in their place. Jodha obviously misunderstood and so did Ruq the thick-skinned. MA, I think, is planting some evidence in the hut in which Jodha-Sujamal met, to incriminate Jodha in an extra-marital affair. This will force Jalal to banish Jodha, whether he wants to or not.

SD will be able to get away because the evidence of his lust has been removed.

My doubt: Please someone answer this: How does Ruq know Jodha is meeting a guy? Did Jalal tell her or MA? Ruq will now spread this news all over the palace. This may also force Jalal to take action against Jodha.

jodha did wrong in going to Jalal about hoshiyaar...it is undermining ruqaiyya's authority as warden and this is not how it works...then what value will her role as warden have if Jalal keeps on overruling what she says...and yes too much making so much fuss for hoshiyaar's birthday...she is a royal bred...did she celebrate every bandhi's birthday in Amer in grand celebration...

Well she went to Jalal on mazhar case when Ruqs was harem warden ... So she was hoping for the same.

He has tried telling her directly and knows she gets terribly hurt ... Today , I felt he was milder on Jodha then in the past - I almost got the feeling he wants Ruqs to stay out of it.

I agree on Jalal- he was actually talking about Ruqs. He used a similar double language after the Mohan-tiger incident when Ruqs was gloating for slapping Jodha,

On MA, she is trying way to hard, that she will fail.

I think both Trips and Tamy has answered the question ... He told that Jodha was hiding meeting someone when he was drunk yesterday.
