Thank god... Maham ne letter nahi padha varna . chalo jalal ne ek kaam to sahi kiya... Poor Jodha... Uska letter padh ke meri aanko me pani aa gaya... She is so decent... she is apologizing... but I am upset at her... she can hurt her husband to extreme... not fair... why she didn't disclose who she is meeting with... Aur us baat ke liye I am more mad at his bro... kya yaar aesa kisi behen se vachal lete hai... I loved the way you have written and twist this story... Moti ne letter read kiya was the best part... OMG!!! VOW... I loved this chapter... (Vow Superb dialogue and anger by Moti) Moti could not help but laugh out sarcastically. With her voice being low and teary, she said to him with full respect ,"Pata hai Shahenshah... Kal raat jab aap yahaan nahi aaye the.. Jodha bahut udaas thin... Unka man nahi lag raha tha... Baar baar roti jaa rahin thi aur humse bhi apne aansoon chipa rahin thin.. Jab humare baar baar poochne par unhone humein apni udaasi ka kaaran bataya.. To humse zyaada aur koi khush nahi tha.. Unhone humein batayaa ki unhe bura lag raha tha ki aap unke paas nahi aaye.. Phir unhone swayam ko bhi uttar diya ki vo aapse prem karne lagin hain...(I wish Jalal ko Moti na batati ki Jodha loves him... I wanted to hear confession from Jodha directly)... Humein itni khushi hui Shahenshah ke hum bata nahi sakte... (Now her voice turned a little louder).

I am glad Moti has told him the truth... The way you have written is way beyond... I am a biggest fan of your writing... Simple and yet effective... the way you display entire scene... Wonderful Princess. So Jallu rides ASAP in search of Jo without telling Ruq & MA. Also liked the fact that his act was spontaneous and more for his care/love/safety for Jo and without actually sitting back and cross-verifying the letter contents (except that he asked MA😡 that is Suju actually out of Agra). Suju doing the next best thing. Revealing to Moti about his identity, reading the letter, understanding the present scenario from Moti and at once rushing away from the palace😊 Beautiful. Great going dearie...😃

Part 6 -----


*In the Outer Palace*

Jalal was in a hurry to leave the palace and go in search for Jodha. But before that, he needed to know the direction in which she had left. He was immensely worried as well as angry. He wanted to enquire from the guards but Maham and Ruqaiya were still there in front of him. Maham was constantly noticing the increasing anger and restlessness on Jalal's face and was getting scared inside.
Whereas Ruqaiya was pissed off. "Fine Jalal.. We'll talk later.."..saying this, she left from there..as she was already upset from him.

"Jalal... Humein bataiye to sahi ki baat kya hai.. Hum aapki Badi-Ammi hain.. Humsein kya chupana Jalal.. Hum aapke chehre par pareshani nahi dekh sakte.. (Now she sounded very concerned)..Kya Jo..Jodha Begum ki wajah se pareshaan hain aap?"...she asked Jalal in fake concern.

Jalal unable to control his flood of emotions anymore, blurted out ,"Jodha Begum Mahal se jaa chukin hain Badi-Ammi.." he shook his head in despair. "Isliye hum unhe dhundne jaa rahe hain"..

Maham was shocked to her core. What??!! Her heart danced in joy. She immediately changed her expressions to that of worry and shock. "Ye kya..kya keh rahe hain aap Jalal? Aise kaise ho sakta hai? Jodha begum Mahal chodkar kaise jaa saktin hain?"...asked Maham.

Jalal was not heeding any attention to her. He asked the guards ,"Kya kal raat Jodha Begum Mahal ke baahar gayin? Aur kis or(direction) gayin..humein jaldi batao"...
"Huzoor... Hum sab raat bhar yahan hi pehra de rahe the... Yahaan se koi bhi baahar nahi gaya.. Jodha Begum bhi nahin.." said the guard in an obedient tone.

Another blower hit Jalal. If Jodha Begum didnt go from here, then where was she???
Maham's mind instantly had an idea.

"Jalaal... Kahin... Kahin Jodha Begum us..us gair mard..." before Maham could speak further, Jalal stopped her by raising his hand up in the air ,"Basss..".

His eyes were red. He didnt know how to react but he definitely could not hear such words.

"Jodha Begum kisi gair mard ke saath nahin bhaagi hain.." came someone's voice from behind.

Both Maham and Jalal were shocked to hear these words. They turned back and found the Baandhi namely Dilawar Khan without her jewelry and wig. It was so evident now that he was a man.

Jalal looked at him with utmost shock whereas Maham's heart stopped beating.

Sujaamal came forward towards Jalal and said in a very stern voice ,"Hum hain vo "gair mard" jo Jodha se milte the.. Hum hain vo jiske wajah se aapne Jodha par shaq kiya.. Hum hain jiski wajah se aapne Jodha ko chot pahuchai..unhe Mahal se nikalne par majboor kar diya.. Hum hain unke Bhai sa Kunwar Sujaamal jisse aap gair mard samajh rahe hain... Aap chaahe humein gunahgaar hi kyon na samjhe lekin hum aapko bata dein ki humari behen ne aapko dhokha nahi diyaa hai.. Humari behen humse chup chup kar milti thi kyonki humnein unse vachan liyaa tha...
(Sujamal was getting angrier by each second..but he was suppressing his anger anyhow...) Hum ye sab aapko baad mein bataayenge.. Ab jab humein pata lag gaya hai ki humari behen apne aapko doshi samajh kar yahaan se jaa chuki hai.. To hum unhe jald se jald dhundna chahenge.." with this Sujamal made his way out of the palace.

Jalal was numbed. His heart skipped a beat. He was in a deep shock. Oh my god!!! What the hell was happening in his palace right under his nose and he didnt have any idea. Sujamal was right in front of his eyes and his Badi Ammi kept telling him that he had fled from Agra. Jalal was not able to breath normally for his uneasiness had increased manifold. So Jodha Begum was right and she had been innocent all the while. Jalal's eyes brimmed with unshed tears. He had been really rude to her. He had alleged her of something so low, so worse!!

Suddenly he realised that he was wasting time by thinking all these. Right now he needed to find her. He looked at Maham with an intense angry frown and then turned away from her. Maham felt trapped in her own game. She felt her blood going all cold. She could very well see her failure right in front of her eyes. She had seen Jalal's frown. Her mind stopped working. She didnt know what to do next.

Jalal got down his horse and ran towards Sujamal.

"Sujamall...Ruko"..his voice filled with worry now. "Jodha Begum has not left from main gate..as guards have informed"... Jalal was not able to meet eyes with Sujamal.

Sujamal was worried now. No doubt he was angry from Jalal to have thought so low about his sister, but this was not the time to fight and worsen the situation. He said,"To kahan jaa sakti hai Jodha?"...
Jalal was himself tensed.
