I was thinking about your views on Jalal's zubaan vs Jodha's vachans. Jalal had given the 2 zubaan to Jodha as her rights and he respected these rights even at the cost of his throne. Even in the body heat track, it was not a question of risking her life. It was a question of respecting her choice when she was not well enough to take a decision. Like u mentioned, under those adverse circumstances, he took an alternative decision whereby he could save her life and respect her choice too.
Jodha knew about these and she was very happy he had kept them in both cases.
Here Jodha has given her vachan to someone else and Jalal does not know about her vachan. So while she has a right to keep her word, he does not know that she is lying to him for this purpose. If she had hinted to him, he may have reacted differently. I am sure he loves and trusts her enough to support her in staying true to her vachan. The babu case is a point. She gave her word to the child she would find his mother and Jalal supported that when he came to know of it.
Radhika,
I am exhausted writing about Vachans. Another time i am writing.😆😕
My comparison was in a different context. Both the settings were different.
Jalal had given the Zubaan.
Now one can see this from another frame. that -> His words are bigger than ANYTHING.
Jalal himself said that -"
Shahenshah Ki Zubaan se Bada kuch Nahi Hota. Zubaan - Zubaan hoti hai...Zubaan Din ya Raat nahi Dekhti Hai...Use nibhaaya hi jaata hai..".
Also he said that --> "
Inke Mazhab ka badalna matlab hamari Zubaan ka paltana.".
So, if we go by the words which Jalal himself said then, it is clear that there Jalal was
MORE interested in keeping his promise rather then her rights...I am concluding this by the words which Jalal said that time...
Yes, consideration of rights was
also there in that case BUT he was speaking
more in context of keeping his words..That time he was behaving as a PERFECT statesman..!!!!!!...So, i feel
more than rights it was about keeping his own words.
The situation was different. Though, his words+Jodha's rights,
both were cared for in that act. But wasn't that a BIG RISK.??...I mean anything could have happened. There was NO assurance that she would be alive or NOT...Such a big risk was taken...Destiny was very much responsible in that case..
Yes, Jodha was happy..But when..???...She became happy ONLY When after few days jalal told her the truth that he kept that Zubaan.😉.
Till then she was very upset and felt betrayed.! (Same is case with Jalal now.!.)Another point here is that Jalal knew that Jodha is upset STILL he went for mindgames. BUT, Here Jodha does NOT know about what Jalal is thinking(though she MAY be suspecting. We will get to know today..).!.The point is, in that situation the
solution was available quite early.
Also, Jalal knew that Jodha is quite devastated due to that "supposed" incident. But he still decided to play games😉 and finally told her the truth,
but LATE.Till then you know about her ordeal..!!!...😕
The point is/was following the Vachan/Zubaan in both cases.
For present case.
1. As far as hinting is concerned, she tried to speak up after the Aarti scene but Jalal left after mentioning Sujamal's name.
2. Second time, she came to him after leaving harem, that time also Jalal was angry and left before any major convo could began. There he gave the reason as you lied about the reason of leaving harem. And he left.
3. Before this also She knew that Sujamal is a traitor from Jalal's POV. And Jalal was quite angry when she tried to convince him about his innocence that he can not do peeche se waar, etc...
4. She decided initially to tell Jalal initially but Moti😡😕, did the blunder.
Finally, i see this as a case where she was initially fearing that Jalal will be angry, if she tells Jalal about Sujamal(thanx to Moti). And when she wanted to tell, by that time, the Vachan was there to stop her. So, here situations acted against her. Atleast you need a conducive and peaceful environment to explain your POV, and in this case she was in a conflicting state of mind.
Regarding Babu. Babu and Sujamal's case can not be compared.
I have explained how situations are different here.
Sujamal's case evoked fear in Jodha, first by Moti. And later further shackled her by Vachan.
PS -
I want this track to end early. I am going to pray now for this.. I am exhausted..😕
Is it so difficult to explain.?.😉. Wrote this many times..
