If i am NOT wrong 😕 then, while taking Vachan, Sujamal told Jodha that - "Shahenshah ko bura lagega/acha nahi lagega ki tum humse mili ho.." ..Something like that..?..?..

if that is the case Abhay, then also, it is fine, that she is not staying somewher, but travelling. so that can be made as one solution. i am searching hard for some solution which doesn't affect akdha😕

Mansi,
Brilliant post! esp the last bold lines. and your analysis of Jalal's state of mind. Yours and Cleo's analyses of Jalal's mind were very enlightening.

Just one point where I differ from you. I don't think Jalal will send Jodha to Amer. Even after the outburst, he may just say in the heat of the moment something like he doesn't want to see her again and she may wander off in hurt. Even if he says Amer, he doesn't mean it. And he will make no preparations to send her to Amer because he doesn't mean it or want it. (just like he didn't mean those words about not seeing her face even if she was dying.)

He will definitely not expect her to make her own preparations and go to Amer. Even after the MC track when he asked her to go to Amer, he called her mother to come and take her.

Now he is too attached to her to think of separation from her. See how he keeps saying he doesn't want her to misunderstand him or lose her friendship. In the Ben track also, he was mortified to see her standing outside her hojra with her belongings and instantly deposited her back in her rooms.

Since he will not ask her to go to Amer, so he himself will not go there in search of her either. The moment he finds her missing, he will go searching for her, fearing the worst (suicide) and bring her back by night. A Hindi serial heroine can't stay alone in the woods at night - it will cast "aspersions on her virtue", the way forum members were fearing being kidnapped by SD would.

I don't agree with the secret passage theory also. If she is distraught enough to leave, she will not try to leave in secrecy. (Why, she did not even use the secret passage to meet Sujamal!) Nobody has stopped her so far at night, so who will stop her during daytime?

All these nights of distress for Jalal and fear for Jodha have already made mincemeat of the soul talk ("no more lonely nights"), so the CVs won't mind separating them if required.

I liked the way you mentioned how this track will help Jalal cleanse himself of his past and remove all traces of distrust from his heart. But will this track also help Jodha bridge the gap between her and Jalal - she is hesitant to approach him, a shahenshah -- once she had even remarked to Moti how she could talk about her feelings with a Shahenshah. Jodha seems to be in awe of him and this awe has to go before she can be transparent with him. She also has a fear that she is just one among many for him and she will not open her heart to him till she can be sure of her place in his life.

The solidification of Jalal's trust in Jodha may be helpful later if SD/BB plot to kidnap Jodha or malign her character.

Yes Radhika, I see the logic in what you are saying about the "going to Amer" situation and the Jodha "bridging the gap" issue. You're absolutely right. A Hindi serial heroine can't be shown gallivanting around the countryside for days together! And as for Jodha, she has to start seeing jalal not on a pedestal but as her partner!

@Radhika, you have put forth a brilliant point. The trust that now Jalal will have for Jodha, will her protect her later when it comes to Asharif.
By the way, what a about a name for SD?
Cheapuddin sounds fine.

Yes...
This is an exquisite piece of CV's GU.😕

OR

I feel Jodha wanted to say -->> "Ham nahi samjhe ki Sujamal bhaisa ne hamse Vachan kyu liya." Perhaps she meant that, --> "Sujamal bhaisa ne hamse Vachan nahi liya hota to accha hota. Tab hum Shahenshah ko bata dete.".

Same as Jalal's case..He says something BUT means something else.😉
