HAREM SCARE
Emperor Akbar once saw a tribal woman deliver her baby in the middle of the forest without any help and resumed her journey back to home carrying a large bundle of firewood. Being highly impressed, he ordered that, henceforth, women in his harem would not got any medical aid to deliver babies, not even his wives 😲Much alarmed, Akbar's royal wives went and appealed to Birbal for help. A couple of weeks later, when Akbar was strolling around in the garden (Angoori Bagh😆) with Birbal, he was immensely shocked to see his precious rose plants had all withered. Naturally, he was furious and agitated with the gardener.Birbal then intervened and said that forests have mighty trees though no one ever bothers to water and nuture them. Why then should roses be pampered?Akbar got the hint and immediately withdrew his order about abolishing medical attention to the women in his harem.NOTE: As the title of this post reads as Fictional one, So please I request you people not to think it as a real story at all. Actually they are just stories and even the idea of Birbal as a clever courtier came into existence only in the 18th century. The stories were made up to illustrate a particular moral issue. The dynamics of the relationship between Akbar and Birbal are totally different than what is portrayed in the stories (credit: @Donjas)
