Inspired by his mahaan begum, he will probably gift his awaam anti-ghulaami law on the jashn.

i see that coming sandhya, and why are they showing harem problems all the time..aur bhi gham the sultanat mein ek harem ke siwa..i hope that the credit of abolition of pilgrimage tax goes to jalal..if not then i do not know what i will do

PS:- for me jalal is certainly not a poodle but i find him really an idle emperor doing nothing. while jodha is doing multi-tasking, jalal is shown idle & only doing work when jodha involves him. jodha is doing gr8, but parallel tracks of jalal doing sumthing should be also there. he is the shahenshah who is the most powerful man, he cant sit idle. he can be right or wrong, he can commit mistakes but cant be idle.

very well said munni👏..the balance is missing big time! if they can spend half the episode focusing jodha resolving harem issues why jalal gets only 2 minutes of space to show his DEK sabha and that also is focused on baz bahadur😆

And it was actually from 1564 that Akbar totally broke off all the yokels of the past that bore him down to surge ahead into putting his vision into a reality???

Aur yeh main nahin history bolti hai.

Unfortunately, history is a linear narrative and hence does not give any interpretations - all it says is that till 1564 he had the weight of the Atkha Khail weighing him down. So to my way of interpreting - till 1564 Akbar kept a low profile mainly becoz the Atkha Khail could become a major force against him and his empire and though he had no issues about fighting them he wanted to do so on his terms - decide when, where, how and which battles he would fight.

Iss liye if he is doing nothing now then it actually is becoz this period was a period of gathering his strength and resources - not the tangible ones but the intangible ones.

adi, my dear kuch to dikha dein..they can also show how he planned strategies what his vision was..i am learning more about fictional stories of jodha than the real story of akbar

According to history he was in big negative influence of Maham. Read many books with phrase Known as the "Petticoat era" it is said that whole time MA used Akbar as puppet king.

And Akbar journey from Jalal to Akbar the great started from death of Adham and Maham
But to be true..I never found that all good decisions of Akbar was Jodha influenced. His major influence was from Todar Mal and Birbal. But I think until they will bring them to show Akbar will make all reforms and changes because of Jodha.

this show is quite fictionalized! and that is what i am hating about it! i want to see the truth and not pure fiction in hunger of trps and ekta style sbs because that is all she is capable of!

Dea and dek sessions.

They can show his dea sessions and gradual shift towards more humanism in dispensing justice. People could praise him for his broad mindedness and humanism. He could discuss his plans -outline if not detail with atga the way he outlined his plans when he agreed to marry jo and the ministers praised him. Side by side they could also show jo making improvements in harem. There would be a balance then

But now the only work he does is what jo involves him. Otherwise jobless. If poodle sounds harsh then jobless.

sandhya, i second you on that! where is the balance cvz???

Sandhya one can complain about the presentation by EK and her team, but historically, this period was definitely one of reconaissance and planning of vision and strategy, of learning what needs to be done and how to do it, of who is friend and who is foe - effectively, one of keeping a low profile and learning of his own strengths and weaknesses as well as gauging the strengths and weakness of all the others within Agra and outside - infact they are not showing him go out in disguise which he did a lot in this period to know of his people and his kingdom - they are only focusing on the love story and hence the harem.

But know this, Akbar used to rest only for 3 hours in a day and for the remaining 21 hours, along with DEK and DEA, he worked on all his other interests including his own learning which is missing in the show - but then EK had made this statement on day one that she is only concentrating on the love story and nothing else - so why crib!!!

adi, love story bhi 7feet ki doori pe touch me not style hai..i want to see mughal-e--azam style love scenes..so royal and elegant😳..but where r they! if its a pure love story then why jodha is shown dealing with harem issues🤪

***Adi, I agree, I don't see them showing Jalal jobless and they are showing foundation for the future of Akbar, he met Todarmal, Tansen, but they were not in his court during those years, and it is not the story of Akbar's journey alone, for that "Akbar the Great" show was made, it is about Jo and Jalal's love story and how much he transformed, and why he fell in love with her, so y not enjoy the show and at times Jo's mahanta is too much to handle. Still as long as they show love story, then I m ok with it and if Jalal goes to war, how will they show them on screen together?

yaar, love story bhi kahan dikha rahe hai! they are making a pure recipe of saas bahu aur saazish..saas is maham dukhi bahu is jodha devi..and saazish is ruq and maham..and that is all i have been watching since past two weeks post badal kajri track which was a pleasant surprise!...if its strictly a love story then why jodha is shown resolving harem issues r they more important than jalal being shown resolving sultanat issues?
