Dea and dek sessions.

They can show his dea sessions and gradual shift towards more humanism in dispensing justice. People could praise him for his broad mindedness and humanism. He could discuss his plans -outline if not detail with atga the way he outlined his plans when he agreed to marry jo and the ministers praised him. Side by side they could also show jo making improvements in harem. There would be a balance then

But now the only work he does is what jo involves him. Otherwise jobless. If poodle sounds harsh then jobless.

Sandhya one can complain about the presentation by EK and her team, but historically, this period was definitely one of reconaissance and planning of vision and strategy, of learning what needs to be done and how to do it, of who is friend and who is foe - effectively one of keeping a low profile and learning of his own strengths and weaknesses as well as gauging the strengths and weakness of all the others within Agra and outside - infact they are not showing him go out in disguise which he did a lot in this period to know of his people and his kingdom - they are only focusing on the love story and hence the harem.

But know this, Akbar used to rest only for 3 hours in a day and for the remaining 21 hours, along with DEK and DEA, he worked on all his other interests including his own learning which is missing in the show - but then EK had made this statement on day one that she is only concentrating on the love story and nothing else - so why crib!!!

***Adi, I agree, I don't see them showing Jalal jobless and they are showing foundation for the future of Akbar, he met Todarmal, Tansen, but they were not in his court during those years, and it is not the story of Akbar's journey alone, for that "Akbar the Great" show was made, it is about Jo and Jalal's love story and how much he transformed, and why he fell in love with her, so y not enjoy the show and at times Jo's mahanta is too much to handle. Still as long as they show love story, then I m ok with it and if Jalal goes to war, how will they show them on screen together?

i know its a love story & he may not go to the war. but at least when they r showing DEK scenes, other things shouldnt interrupt. CVs should keep the DEK & harem matters separate. this will bring the much needed balance. prob is tht while jo is shown doing both her work as well as thinking about jalal, jalal is now-a-days only shown as a lover. at least DEK scenes should be shown in detail just as jodha's working scenes. it seems like jodha has lots of work to do & jalal is jobless. so if its only about the love story then jodha should also be jobless, why only jalal???

Simply becoz TE is both, more effective and more efficient, than his Chudail!!!😉

it decreases the screen space & also the scope of performance becomes very limited. to increase his screen space, now-a-days sum scenes r added which either seems like fillers or those scenes seems weird to us.😕

Akbar's transformation can also be highlighted through his works in dea dek. SOMEONE CAN PRAISE HIM TOO. Even in the movie, though it concentrated on romance, Akbar was busier than Jo.

Why so much imbalance in portrayal of characters? Is ekta and her team incapable of making shows that revolve around a strong male protagonist?

Pls i will not accept a good war scene in Ekta's show she does not have that expertise at all. Atleast show him out of harem at least going around agra city or visiting humayun tombn does he not want t visit his father's grave once a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

watched the episdoe today except for the sword scene the rest was mughal-e-harem! why we are only getting scenes showing how jodha is dealing harem issues why we do not get coverage of jalal doing something
