I completely agree with you as far as Smiley is concerned. She was oozing royalty, grace and charm and had she continued more would have rooted for Ruq-Lal and that is harmful to the show!😲

Lavina is reduced to a screecher according to tv serial unwritten rule 3, that there has to be a vamp who will sink to depths, so that the heroine will shine brighter. Who else can fit the bill perfectly other than a souten? So what if it was a royal queen who was portrayed, tv serials hail only the heroines and everyone else has to be blackened as a rule again.

But inspite of all this, we have some brilliant scenes, some brilliant episodes and some brilliant performances from all, esp Rajat and Pari, that you don't get to see elsewhere.

Whatever crap or good is shown, I will not quit as long as Rajat is in the show😊

ruqqu looks lk ny other EK vamp frm her other contemporary shows...
look at EK's continuity n commitment 2 wards vamps...show aaj ka ho ya 400 saal purana...vamp hai hi...Kal bhi aaj bhi aur kal bhi rahegi...😆

EK vamps ki durability .. kal aaj aur kal🤣

His acting is good except that he tries too much emotions sometimes. He must act cool and natural. He is an shahenshah after all must have that befiqar and haughtiness and do not care attitude in him suiting an emperor(watch akbar in Maharana pratap he is good at acting like emperor snobbish befiqar no fear of anyone or anything in world).

I feel whenever jodah and akbar on screen akbar has hesitation or is sacred it looks unnatural to me. I mean as a family member of each other i feel they are strangers not family members talking and meeting always hesitation and fear(akbar especially) it looks unnatural.

Ruqaiah gets on my nerves especially her screeching and shouting. She looks like school headmisters to be feared for her reaction even akbar scared of her moods. Ruqaiah character destroyed completely by over villanisation. Even hamida dare not speak to her she can raise hands on akbar not shout at ruqaiah to correct her?

Smiley was good the snobbish naughty innocent young teenage ruqaiah was very good actually and suited akbar. Here ruqaiah looks much elder to akbar. Jodah also looks very elder to akbar. Actually all his wives look much elder in age to him. Only person looking younger to him is bakshi in this serial. And sharifuddin looks like bakshi's father not husband. Adham khan looks 10 years elder to akbar while he was a few months elder to him in age. Atagah who is 50 years old in reality looks only 35-40.

You are right this is more fiction than history show more on fictional love than any historical events. But audience nowadays want only that not true historicals like Sword of tipu Sultan, Mahabharat etc. Here i appreciate Mahabharat(new one) they did not make it love story between arjun-draupadi(hero heroine of show) and giving equal footage to all charcaters good or bad ones 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Jodha akbar should have been like that buttt. I watch this show only for Rajat and Paridhi and other cast not for story, dialogues etc

Pls give akbar a full week of war or someother thing i am bored of this harem and kitcen politics. This was akbar he would not even be at home for 9 months in a year always in battle, war, tours plsss do not make him resolve harem issues etc like 21st century males

And i do not mind Ruqu calling him jalal indeed salima,gulbadan, jiji anga even atagah have right to call him jalal. come on yaar he was born in front of their eyes will you call your best friend, brother, son your highness or by his name which sounds more personal???? Obivously name, so all his childhood friends, cousins, milk mothers, fathers, aunts should call him jalal only.

I have not seen rajat in PRC but have seen him in tere liye and liked him in that p. but, i feel he is perfect as akbar and so is paridhi perfect as jodha. I watch this show now just for AKDHA and PARIJAT. They r brilliant as leads of ths show.

MA has also been reduced to a scheming MIL , where as she also had political motives, in the serial she is busy instigating one begum against another. Did anyone notice that the only time she is in the DEK is when the begums are all present , off late she is missing when crucial decisions are made eg Adham being stripped of Malwa subedari, earlier also the DEK session when additional responsibility was not given to. Adham. She is a Waizr , a minister why isn't she there to advice Jalal?

Has she been reduced to wazir e harem ?

Also dislike the fact that MA (Ashwini) scenes are always shot separately instead of as a team, the body double is easy to identify, it just makes the scene incomplete as you can clearly make out they are not shooting the entire scene with all character together but in bits and pieces

I am not a housewife, in fact I am a management level executive in a corporation. But as many in this thread, one of the main reason I watch the show is Rajat.

You are right in that you are entitled to your opinion. So the fact that you 'hate' his acting is not offensive or anything along the same line to me. You are also right that the show needs huge improvement on many aspects. But I just am curious about one thing - your sentence above is rather offensive to the 'housewives' dont' you think?

It appears to indicate that housewives are not sensible. Its an unfair statement agains many women who left their high flying carriers and high education to be at home for the sake of their family. Its rather a stereotype idea of housewives which should never be promoted.

completely disagree...before JA o dint even his name so i had no plan of watching ds shw infact i dint saw ds shw for 2-3 months...bt when i saw i ws like oh mannn who z ds????😲...wt an actor...i dnt like any actor easily. many ppls r die hard fan of barun, vivian, gurmeet, ksg, karqn vahi,gautam nd many more. bt for me these actors r only gud lukin. i nvr liked thr acting...i luv rajat only bcz of his acting nt for his luks...m die hard fan of his smirk nd smile...

scndly i feel wt z d point of ds kind of posts...we shld give our feedback to cvs or concerned actor. here ppls cant do anything. bt peace of ds forum vl definayely get affected.

every prsn hv diff pov...sry to say nd i nvr ever mentioned in ds forum dt i dnt like paridhi's acting...bcz forum shld hv peaceful environment. smtimes on paridhi's scene i change d channel bt yes i luv akdha so watch akdha scenes...bt nvr felt making any post on ds...

I also disagree with the statement of generalising and calling house wives " not sensible" being a housewife isn't a degrading thing plz , I am proud to be a housewife, I quit my high paying job in India's best IT company because my priority was my family, it was a choice, it isn't a measure of a persons intelligence or preference ... Least of all choice of a serial track 😊.
