This is the CVs at fault. They generally show Ja to be so passive in front of Ruq, I don't like it at all. Comes across as weirrrd.

look if he was upset with ruku's behavior he should have told her on her face, being ignorant about sumone's pain is not justified. main prob is tht he is not honest towards ruku now-a-days. he should be fair to both jodha & ruku. yes even after fairness ruku shows her BEK ego, then of course jalal is not to be blamed.

Tripti, that TE empathizes with Ruqs cannot be doubted and we could note it from his statements to Jodha.

But he has always maintained an impassive face when confronted by rudeness from Ruqs and this particular situation was one created by circumstances and shouting at the Guard or Jodha will reduce the value of Ruqs and TE (if he lets her) and from what I have seen of TE, he first lets others vent their feelings before he brings them round - toh yahan too he did the same - abb Ruqs gusse mei wahan se phudak gayi toh TE kya kare.

And before he goes after Ruqs he needed to get Jodha to not go on a self accusation and guilt mode - which he knows she is very capable of (and she did start on it too!!!). In fact I did not find anything wrong with his attitude today - He was to be an impartial listener and he did just that!!!
