And before he goes after Ruqs he needed to get Jodha to not go on a self accusation and guilt mode - which he knows she is very capable of (and she did start on it too!!!). In fact I did not find anything wrong with his attitude today - He was to be an impartial listener and he did just that!!!

Ruq simply barged in and out of Jalal's hojra. She screamed and fumed and got even more furious when the truth came out. Who could tell her anything? She wanted to kill the soldier?
