Dear, what is this...I come here and see a fuming Mansi...'hugs'
The episode was not all that bad dear...😳
It is the lull before the storm...LITERALLY!
Just like something as big as the Ben kaand was required for Jodha to realize Jalal's position in her life...and Jodhas vish attempt for Jalal to realize Jo's position in his life...
This boat ride will be the start of jalal beginning to the see the difference in Jodha and ruqaiyya...how Jodha ends up getting power in governance etc...(it's all a long process, but it's still the start)
On a side note...More than the Karni Sena protests and the zee office kaand, the thing that worried me the most was an article I saw this morning... that talked about Jodhas increase in power and her role in abolishment of slavery...
My only question is this...while Jodha might have had a hand in influencing many new state laws for the better...Jalal was also simultaneously increasing his might and forces and taking care of the issues in the Sultanate! I only see Jodhas growth...where is Jalal's growth in this...he's become soft...he's fallen in love...but, I don't feel like I'm watching an emperor at all lately...
while I like the softer side of him with the ladies... I also want to see how he functions outside the gardens and the bedrooms and the boat rides! A ten second snap shot of him with Atagh/fleeting exit from DEK is not cutting it for me! Not a single success story of Jalal's has been portrayed for a very long time...it's like he's become totally dependant on his wives...if not for RTs presence, this Akbar really looks like a caricature to me...
I want a story of equals...this serial is Jodha Akbar for a reason- not just Jodha or just Akbar...I want parallel growth...of two lovers, companions, soul mates! Right now, Jodha is slowly replacing MA and Ruqs as an advisor...but, where's the passion...or the love...
if anyone watches the show since Tasneem track...the one question that'd ring is 'what's there in this emperor that this queen has fallen hook, line and sinker for him?'
This Jalal only feels like a shade of the older one...The Jalal in the show right now is only looking like a football between two wives now -when Akbar was anything but!
Why has todarmal been ditched now? Instead of concentrating on MAs harem scenes everyday, they can show the political side of things, which should be just as thrilling...
I got even more saddened when I saw the painting that Abhay put up...when I saw the paintings of his achievements there, I don't feel like I'm watching the same depiction here on screen at all...the CVs are catering to the Saas Bahu audience by picking up bits from the Akbarnama that suits them...what about the rest? There are people like us who want to watch other achievements too...😕
