After telling her ' you are the only special one' for years, when he reduces her importance can't he understand as a friend what she might feel . When he could spend so much time in trying to make jo understand him can't he spare time to drill some sense into his friend. If she repeats even after his attempt then it is her doom. But not attempting even once to understand and explain to her doesn't speak well of his friendship.

Well he is the same chap who was polishing his knife when his nikaah to her was at stake
But when it comes to issues related to jo he is on his wheels full alert.

I agree Jalal has said to Ruks that she is the special one. That doe not mean she can stoop to any level she wants to hurt others. Jalal and Jodha have started to change not because any one is forcing them to . They are learning from their mistakes. What is happening to Ruks. She is so arrogant and rude and has always been but only Kind to Jalal. I am not in favor of Ruks till she changes. Salima begum is so dignified...

I too didn't understand what Jalal meant when he said bachi kuch izzat to Ruq 😲 . As far as we ve been shown , Jalal was witness to Ruq pulling & pushing Jodha in front of him after the boat ride & some harsh words she uttered then, & then the complaints from the various begums & harem waasis about Ruq s obnoxious behaviour to them, & then of course this murti kaand. So did he mean only these or what else that he s so become so disappointed & irritable with her? Sighhh, whatever Jalal does na he cant emerge the winner it seems. If he doesnt stand by Jodha & support her tab bhi danda padta hain & if he does that too he s doing injustice to his best friend. 😭 😭 . Jalal dude, u seem to have a balancing problem with ur begums. Well u deserve it for marrying so many , I d say 🤪

Nobody favours ruqaiya and cannot justify her after this moorthi khaand. But we only expect one sense drilling convo between ja and ruqs. Else he looks like a bad friend. If she continues her arrogance then it is her funeral.

I'm not goin to defend any of Rukku's faults.,she is not an angel,,but aftr dis BEK election i want Jalal to think abt her behavior,her enemity towards jo,why she changed to dis extend, in a very serious way..i want Jalal to realize dat it's not a light jealousy problem..it's sumthing bigger and deeper..i want him to understand d suituatuon,and make dicisions according to dat..

Sandhya, all this while he has been ignoring Ruq's bad behaviour, sometimes because she would admit it, sometimes because he cares too much for her. Like, he didn't like the way she walked to Sikhri, she made Jo sleep outside and also after the chess game he asked her. After boat ride, the way she pushed Jo. Aren't these behaviour enough to loose respect? But he kept quiet thinking that she is jealous, upset,angry and that's the way she behaves momentarily, but what she did today was unforgivable.

I think Ruq went too far this time and she went against the policy of Akbar meddling with the religious sentiment and he was very angry with the level Ruq went against Jodha very occha as he termed it and Ruq has been . Ruq with Moghul Turkish blood in her was more closer to Jalal being his cousin friend and his 1st wife he is slowly getting disillusioned with her and so lack of patience and shouting at her.

In real history too Gulbadan and Ruq are auntie niece and despite every thing Ruq will live long remain chief queen and bring up Prince Khurram aka ShahJahan who was born to a hindu wife of Jehangir oversee his education the grandson of Akbar

Till after the chess game he kept telling her that he enjoyed beating jo and enjoyed her anger initially when he said he enjoyed the game.

He riled jo with ben only to revenge the dhakka. Why did he always rile ruqs with jo?

He has been indulgent of her rudeness so far and initially was party to her arrogance and even used to praise her for it. He spoilt her more than anyone.

Just because he has changed he cannot expect her too to change pronto. Even children of the same age don't grow at the same speed.

Of course what she did was unforgivable and she crossed the limits. But before things reduced to this mess, as a friend I expected him to have an open talk with her. Not egg her to further follies and blast her for it. He didn't have even the pain that he had while blasting bb. He was plain livid as though he was waiting for a reason to admonish her and throw her out.

Sandhya, I understand, but here he is not just a friend, he is her husband as well, even before chess games, after he was back from harem as well he asked her if she is jealous, and she out rightly said no. During the divorce track as well he explained that Jo supported and he was happy when Ruq was humble enough to accept her mistakes and say sorry and that's how he thought actual Ruq is, she is impulsive but not cheap, hence he kept quiet, now with her cheap tactics which she is doing over and over again he has lost respect.
