Logic would seem to dictate that the serial cannot do without either Ruqaiya or Mahaam. It will be crippled and the viewers will get diabetes watching only Jodha and Salima, with Rahim thrown in as a bonus, running in the bhalayi-cum-mahaanta stakes.

This said, I understand that Ekta's characters often return from the dead, to be precise from a coma.😉
Maybe Ruqaiya will do the same! Frankly, I think this is all nonsense.

Don't worry, Jalal can look after himself. Even when he is compared to a kauwa, and looks like a cuddly pillow. As for the constant harping on Jodha's love for Jalal and her sacrifice, the latter piece of news, would have fitted neatly into the popular Savitri-Satyavan template, and would thus spread like wildfire. The former is like a card that the conjuror pushes at you; Jodha is supposed to realise that she loves him by dint of listening to people say, again and again and again, that she does.

I went back and re-read your paean to Jalal-Akbar, and that moved me almost to tears. Only almost, mind, but that too, for me, is quite something!

You should do standalone episode analysis posts, Sandhya. Then I can retire and just comment on your threads, and my wrist will heal in no time! Plus think of all the time, 6-7 hours a day, that I can devote to other pursuits!

Regarding the dhakka repetition it is natural that jalal repeats it. But why is jalal made to taunt her about only such things that is not her fault and going to be resolved. Only for another round of apology. He never taunted her for asking him to die anywhere but in amer.

Again you are absolutely right that jalal is growing and shining surreptitiously without the cvs actually intending it to be that way. It is rajat who lifts it to that level.

The prem mohabbat cards flashed by everyone is so boring. Also the beauty of jodha devi. Pari is gorgeous no doubt. But she isn't extremely beautiful by the standards of beautiful women. But rajat is far more handsome than most men. So how is that the praja talks only of their rani's good looks and not their shahenshah's.

Also as shreya said didn't't the praja who now knows about benazir and poison drinking know about the narnaal then?

Well, Tripti, I am not a little girl any more, thank Heavens, but a mature woman of exceedingly discriminating taste. So, when I love Rajat to bits, next only to my Sasha, and think that he is wonderful even when looking like a stuffed pillow, what more can you (or he) ask for?

There are many men who are handsomer than Rajat, But very, very few have his presence.
