This, my dear Shan, is a far, far better response than mine, for it addresses the root of the matter, which is that such comments pander to Jalal's alpha male ego.

See, Tripti dear, Jodha Begum has, thru popular acclaim, been voted Trophy Wife No. 1 of the (16th) Century!

RT. I could watch him read the phone book and find something to interest me. The lines written for him are good and I think they work because RT says them. Have to have that special air of being the most powerful man in Hindustan, having the luxury of slowing things down and taking his time standing there, just released from his chains and saying his wife has made him miss out.

Again you are absolutely right that jalal is growing and shining surreptitiously without the cvs actually intending it to be that way. It is rajat who lifts it to that level.

The prem mohabbat cards flashed by everyone is so boring. Also the beauty of jodha devi. Pari is gorgeous no doubt. But she isn't extremely beautiful by the standards of beautiful women. But rajat is far more handsome than most men. So how is that the praja talks only of their rani's good looks and not their shahenshah's.

Also as shreya said didn't't the praja who now knows about benazir and poison drinking know about the narnaal then?

Rumor has it that if you forget every bad deeds of Jodha rani sa and only praise her high , mughal court would consider your income tax payment and deduce it up to a maximum extent, moreover no expense in your daughter(S) wedding, jodha bhajan trio will provide the total expense as well as lavish gifts, sweets, dresses, jewels, etc..

And don't ever dare to give complex to her by comparing the complexion of her with her pati sa, you will be thrown out of the empire for racism..😆😆

Anyway on a serious not, who were praising jo's beauty all were men, so definitely they would be by jo's side..

See It all boiils down to the attitude of the CVs in general. They want us to believe that only Jalal should be thankful and grateful to have Jodha and not vice versa..It seems the women in this serial are beyond apologies or gratitude.. They can only be thrashed or praised.. Really I was surprised that even Ruoq did not apologize for role in the Ben saga...

But yes,,I do agree Rajat is a charismatic.frankly I didn't think so when I saw him initially..But his persona and his role just grows on yu...

I guess it has to do with the layers and layers of make-up and the contact lenses she uses. To be honest, she has the most expressive eyes I have ever seen.

I regularly comment on Jalal's good looks. Though not of late since he has gained quite a few kilos. He looks like a round doll which have to be blown air into for kids to play.

I moon over the fact that he can keep a good eye contact. When he stares at Jodha, it doesn't seem lecherous nor understated but just perfect. It's kind of a level-headed and determined gaze that makes me go weak at the knees 🤢 (it might be because I have a fetish for beautiful eyes. I have quite clear dark brown ones too)

P.S I found out that we both share the same name 😆

Look at Jalal's transformation from a ruthless emperor to a teddy bear and it looks so real that we want Jodha to take pity on him and give him what is asking for😆 Of course I want him to lose weight and have the mean lean look, but even now his killer eyes, vocab delivery and expression can compensate the physical short comings.

I have some predictions based on yesterday's episode

1) About Ruq- she confidently said that she can recognise Jalal even behind 7 pardas as well, I think she will fail to recognise him. Contracditory to Jodha recognising Jalal even in his Choodiwala disguise.

2) Hamida talking about Ruq's this action will have dangerous result. Some action of Ruq's during this visit, will make her go down in front of Jalal's eyes. He might not take back the title of "khaas", but there will be some kind of "dewaar" between them after this.

3) And if you all remember, Ruq knows about this "tax" and Jodha herself had paid the tax for other yatris during one of her visit, so Jalal may get to know about this?

4) I don't think Dakus will kidnap Ruq, there might be some fight sequence between dakus and Jalal and also this might result in Jalal taking some steps against these dacoits.
