The hours were not moving. Yes the time stood stagnant for more than one person in Agra.
For Jodha, it was not moving as she had not figured out she will save her husband from the vicious clutches of the nagin, and hence she didn't want the time to move. If it were in her hands, she would have ordered the Sun to never rise again in AGRA, yes she didn't want that night to pass, the morning will set the wedding happen and after that she will lose her chance to save Shehenshah.
"Hey Krishna, Shehenshah is not ready to hear me and no one believes my words about Benazir. What should I do now, the morning will bring the death penalty to my husband and I am helpless. I really don't know how to save my husband now, but I am Jodha, the Rajput princess, I will not sit quiet and watch that creature to succeed in her heinous plan. I will stop her at any cost, even if I have to die for that, I will do that but not risk my husband's life.
For Jalal, nothing is making sense, one side Jodha was too confident that benazir is poisonous and on the other side she proved herself not, and in all these things, he ended up promising marriage to Ben. He was hoping against hope that Jodha will do some miracle and stop his marriage to Ben, after his marriage with Jodha, he had not found any need for another woman in his life. When she refused him his right, true he felt anger and wanted to avenge for his insult but never thought of seeing tears in her eyes, that helplessness, hurt, anger, frustration on herself was too much for him to digest. The morning will make him yet again a bridegroom and his marriage will happen with Ben and after that, he may not even be able to meet Jodha, he himself had sworn like that and thought itself was crushing his unknown heart.
"Why on the earth I am feeling this restlessness for Jodha when I hate her. Why do I feel some important part of me is missing???????? What made me to swear those hard words and how will I stay without having a glimpse of her? Why I am not feeling happy despite getting married in the morning to that beautiful girl to whom I gave the special place in my court? Why are you doing this to me JOdha Begum, why it is always dubious response I get from you? Your eyes speak volumes on positive assurance while you speak something else totally different. Why can't you agree what you express? Whom should I believe, " your truthful, never deceiving eyes or your words which have no depth". Why do I get this feeling that you are hiding something from me and trying hard to convince that I have no value in your life?
Ben, was waiting for the sun to rise as early as possible so that the entire Agra gets into the wedding preparations and during those moment she can fulfill her duty towards her master with the help of Adham Khan who has believed in her that she will kill the king and he can get the throne, She laughed at his ignorance and was looking for the ways she can use to kill Jalaluddin so that Abul Mali's road is cleared to crown the throne. Adham had promised the horse for her to flee the moment Jalal falls down and the people are busy with him.
Adham was restless and had been drinking non-stop. He was happy that Ben will make his road clear by killing Jalal and his supporters will take care of Abul Mali, Ben & Atga Khan. But his only doubt and the major obstacle as per him was Jodha Begum. He knew she will sit quite once she decides something and now Begum Salima had also joined hands with her. He wanted the time to fly and Jalal die, then there will be no one to stop him from Claiming the throne.
Maham & Ruqu were happy that Jodha will be sidelined and in due course might leave Agra. As per her, Jodha is as good as a serpent which doesn't have the poisonous teeth. Maham had danced her heart out after hearing those words Jalal uttered towards Jodha that "he will not see Jodha's face even on her death bed". That was the clear indication that Jalal had blocked her from his life and Jodha can never be his favorite wife again. For Maham , her road was cleared from obstacles and no one will question her authority now and for Ruqu, she need not have to worry about Jodha stealing her position in the Sultanate & Jalal's heart. So they were eagerly waiting for the night to conclude and with the dawn, they have a new life of their own, without the interference of Jodha Begum.
Hamida & Salima Begum were spending the night, praying to Kuda for Jodha & Jalal's safety n dwell being. They wanted to see the love developing between the two of their loved ones.
Moti was too scared for Jodha. She knew very well about Jodha's quality and how she sticks to her idealogies once she decides on it and here Jodha has been repeatedly murmering that "She will ahve to save Shehenshah at any cost and she will go to any length to ward ben's poison" She knew very well taht Jodha had started loving her husband and is not ready to accept teh fact for a simple, rather complicated reson that he is not reciprocating her love and might not during the entire life" She was having nightmares of Jod ataking extreem steps and fall into the trap of vicious Ben. She thought of consulting Salima Begum, but had no strength to leave Jodha alone in her room when she was feeling so low and firming her decision. She as left with no other option but to pray the Ambe maa & Bolenath to save Jodha's life and to prosper the same wit the beautiful flowers of love from Jalal.
Sharef on teh other hand was too furious. He could not think of Abul Mali enthroning the Mughal Sultanate nor he could think of Adham Khan on that. He knew very well the depth of Jodha's love / duty towards her husband. So he utilized the same to his benefit now by revealing the fact that Ben is the one who is aiming to kill Jalal, so she shall stop Ben from her aim or die during the same. He always believed in a simple theory that "If he can't have something, he will not let anyone else have it". Be it the throne or Jodha. He had used Adham Khan also for this cause so that if Jodha is not successful, then Adham to take care of Abul MAli & Ben, so that the throne will be vacant till he is out of Jail or something like that. he knew very well taht Ruqaiya willnot alloow Adham to claim the throne and later he, the Shareefuddin can claim it from Ruqaiya.
