Abhay, though I have no proof, I do feel Maham live longer than 40 days after the death of Adham Khan for a simple reason that we havecread that she built the Adham Kham tomb (got it built) and if that was true then she would have lived long enough to get it completed and it would not have built just in a course of one month.

Jaya,
As you are saying, if that was true, then am adding, that tomb was commissioned by Akbar only. 😊
At present, "it appears(still not able to conclude)" she did not die in 1562 itself since docs are giving contradicting info.😕
Please you also try to search more, and share here.

How can you tell? How innocent! 😆 A writer is always identified by his way of writing. And here forget the style, the words too are the same.😉

No: 39 in references.

Akbar came to know of MA's real nature, about her role in miscarriages.
Only thing i am confused is the exact timing, when he came to know. 😊

As per Cambridge University Press" the Architexture of Mughal India" by Catherine B. Asher says Maham died few months after Adham Khan's death (while talking about his tomb (page 43).

^^^^^
Agree..😊

But, as far as tomb is concerned,
My sources ---> Mughal Chronicles and the archives from ASI itself. 😕

And these books also:

1. Waqi'at-i-Daru'l-Hukumat-i-Dihli by Bashiru'd-Din Ahmad
2. Athar-us-Sanadid by Sayyid Ahmad Khan

They all say Akbar started.

After MA/Adham tomb, construction of tomb of Ataga Khan was also started in Nizamuddin village in Delhi.

Also, i feel that indigenous sources should be given preference..😊

No Abhay
In the reference list to the wiki page no:39 is the fatehpur sikhri chronicles. It is a new inclusion and I can safely bet the reason and the changer behind the changes.

I wish I had read you a couple of years ago when I was eagerly looking for positive info on muz and the net was in no way helpful. The serial dampened all my interest in the queen by the unstable portrayals. Now I have completely dissociated the serial from the real people and am content to watch it as an entertainment program and not a slice of history

Your passion for hk is so evident in your posts. (I am still reading ...)I think i've asked you earlier ... is history your profession or hobby? And are your interests limited to hk alone and her influence in mughal history? Need not answer if you don't wish to.😊

Btw what are the 39 steps?

Sandhya,

First, i would say, hang on, with the serial. I agree CV's have now turned hopeless in execution.😕. I remember, i used to watch initial episodes of JA, many times. They were brilliantly executed. Now, CV's brains are on a trip. If they improve the execution even now, then also, it'll be better.

Coming to events, I, KDR81, and lizzy(she is not active these days ), all 3 are reading on them. And, we got incidents from history, but again the problem is pathetic execution. See the recently concluded VK track. CV's turned VK's into such a thing that 99.99% of forum was believing it to be a fictional incident in Akbar's life. But, it happened actually. Many more are there to come...!!.. BTW, i have not done editing @39.

Net / digital media / some books, have degraded Akbar's image and also of MUZ, that it's quite tough to believe on their relation now. Many references were deliberately destroyed long back only. As you are reading my threads, you will get to know, how deep the distortions run.
Also we made an observation, before that movie Jodha-Akbar, there was perhaps no/ver less websites on internet which spew fake/degrading stuff on HK/Akbar. And, now you see, Net is crowded with such websites. And, majority have communal propaganda...! It's clear from their language.

Coming to my interest. I am in no way related to history by profession or anything. It's just a hobby, but this topic of HK-Akbar is really fascinating...😊 And, this interest is not only her influence on Mughals/Akbar, but more. But, she did have lot of influence, atleast NOW i believe this. Since, its JA, so we try to restrict our discussion to JA only. Many people feel we write mostly about HK. But, see, info on Akbar is easily available. And, on HK it's not available EASILY even if you pour your heart out searching it. That's why, i(or we 3) write that thing, which is not easily available. 😊. Though, we write on Akbar also. It works according to the ongoing track in the serial. See recent comments on part-4 thread. They include Mughal Culture and Hakim/Shivani?tejvant, etc...also. I read world history as well. Only motive, behind this was to find myself, how our history was like...For, i believe in verifying multiple times from many sources.😊

I joined the forum accidentally. I was randomly searching info on JA on Internet (though i got nothing.). But, i came across this forum, and was shocked to see so many wrong threads especially on HK here from Internet. And, i decided joining here only to post my first thread - Mariam Zamani - Reality part-1.https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/jodha-akbar/3782915/mariam-uz-zamani-pt1-updt-muz-p39-padshah-begum-p40-salim-and-muz-p46
But, somehow, got 2 people who were genuine researchers, and later many more, and so i stayed back. Atleast now, some misconceptions on HK are removed in the forum.😊.And this actually helps maintain a good feeling that, we are not getting total crap. Connection with actual events helps a lot. Sharing knowledge is always beneficial.😊. Even ,Ruqs MC track was perceived as fiction by forum.😕. Though, it also had reality in it.

Just imagine 1 thing --->> "The present reaction of forum, had that post on sending Vishknaya and 'some' involvement of HK here would not have been posted ? ". Atleast, now we know VK incident did happen. It was not total fiction. BTW, am still trying to ascertain the extent of HK's involvement in that.

39 steps is an old movie.

Don't feel sleepy. I have written so much.😆 Though, i always try writing history as an interesting story.
Hope this reply works.😊 And, yes carry on with your reading..
