But, as far as tomb is concerned,
My sources ---> Mughal Chronicles and the archives from ASI itself. 😕

And these books also:

1. Waqi'at-i-Daru'l-Hukumat-i-Dihli by Bashiru'd-Din Ahmad
2. Athar-us-Sanadid by Sayyid Ahmad Khan

They all say Akbar started.

After MA/Adham tomb, construction of tomb of Ataga Khan was also started in Nizamuddin village in Delhi.

Also, i feel that indigenous sources should be given preference..😊

No it says the actual tomb construction was started in 1561 and Adham Khan and his mother who died few months later were buried in this at plate 17. May be that tomb is a buriel ground for quite a few and was completed by 1567-68.

Finally, got what i am saying and what you are saying..!...😊
We both are actually, talking of different structures, one over other.

You are talking of actual tomb. And, i am talking of BhulBhulaiya.

Just now checked my diary, and the exact words are as follows --> "A building Bhul-bhulaiya was erected over the tombs, of MA and Adham on orders of Akbar.". So, i am talking of final structure and you are talking of original one. 😊

Yes, they completed in 1567-68 only. Even, Atga Khan's tomb construction completed around same time in Nizamuddin. And, there is STILL today, an inscription which mention the same date of completion...😊.

Abhay
Thanks for the lecture.😆 But believe me it wasn't one. Yes I too loved the initial episodes say upto 76. Ever since it has spiralled down. I continue to watch it as rajat is a brilliant actor and he is doing a great job

I have no problems trusting all that you post but am still skeptical about 39. 😆. The language style contents and even words match

Your efforts at your hobby is amazing. And thanks for all the info.

It is getting lengthier day by day anyway. It is much longer than what it was 2 yrs back.😆

Believe me the most difficult thing is to convince a lady on anything she gets skeptical about. 😆 . Anyway I will follow the growing length of the page.

Btw you have stated clearly that your area of focus is to highlight the forgotten enigma hk and her contributions. I know we get info on akbar anywhere. But getting them first hand from chronicles is different from reading from edited abridged and toned versions. If you could, if your time permits, widen your spectrum and make posts on other topics related to the amazing emperor as well it would be wonderful and would help us view things with greater clarity. Because the background is as important as the subject . Or is it too much to ask.

You have given some info on other topics too but they have invariably ended up on hk 😊😆

Sure, follow that page..😉. But, i am not involved there @39..😆..
BTW, i said that we write facts, which are not easily available on her, and write on Akbar as well.
Part1 was started for MUZ. But, part2 , i started for Akbar-Ruqayya, but members here force the discussion always towards MUZ..😆Part-3 was their painting. And, part-4 was totally different topic of Mughal dressing style and Holi celebration. So, you see its JA, not only Jo.😊.

And, even this thread is of Maham Anga. Still, m forced to consider MUZ here..😆

On a serious note, we have written on Akbar also, in esp. in part-4 thread. And, will continue.😊 We wrote on his relations with his relatives. And, it goes acc. to track on show, and also the discussion we start spontaneously on threads. See, this topic of VK only, on part4 thread took almost 15-20 pages..!..😊 You must have seen the recent speech on Man Singh, which i posted..

"In the beginning of 1569, Akbar was gladdened by the news that his first Hindu consort, Heer Kunwari was expecting a child, and that he might hope for the first of the three sons promised by Sheikh Salim Chisti, a reputed holy man who lived at Sikri."
I found this on Wiki...
@bold first son Salim ?😕 Abhay, didnt MUZ give birth twin sons before Salim ? Hassan and Hussain ?
3 sons as in Salim, Murad and Daniyal no ?

But if MA was alive till 1563-1564 does this mean she was behind the death of his twins ? As you said even Abul Fazl indirectly mentioned her in AkbarNama.

P.S : You know what, after reading your and Adi's comment I will start doubting Akbarnama also 😆

@bold..
If i answer Tamy's query ABOVE you will start doubting Jahangirnama also..😆
BTW, i found 2 new Akbarnamas...😕..in addition to 3 i already mentioned...😕

Abhay I had sent you a PM regarding my thoughts on the Children of Akbar - the ones that survived and the ones that did not - and regarding their mother(s) and why I thought so. Did you read it?
