Hi All,
There has been quite a few OS regarding current track/promo & I too thought of writing one...hope you all like it.
Jodha sat in the shivering cold Agra weather just opposite to Jalal's hojra beside her Moti was asleep. She spent the whole night watching his hojra to ensure Benazir doesnt sneak in.
Moti wakes up- Jodha finally the all important day came
Jodha - Yes Moti today is the biggest day of my life...I have to save shehenshah at any cost. Come lets go.
Activities had started in the palace towards the nikah which was to happen in few hours and Jodha was sure Benazir now cant sneak into shehensha's room.
She quickly got ready & went to do the puja.
Jodha - Kanha today you have to prove your existence..I have fought with everyone, tried so many times but I couldnt prove Benazir is a vishkanya... apart from Salima begum no one trusts me & I dont have any proof but as you yourself say Truth always wins over Lie... prove it today kanha..save shehenshah...save my faith in you.
Jodha wipes her hears and lights the diya and prays.
A few bandhis come & inform that Jodha is required in the main hall where wedding ceremonies are to begin.
Jodhs comes out with Moti and finds Jalal outside his hojra.She decides to give one last try at convincing him about Benazir's evil intentions.
Jodha - Pranam shehenshah.
Jalal turns away from her.
Jodha - I came to request you...
Jalal - I dont know why some people just cant keep to themselves...when I am not interested to see them talk to them why they keep coming in front of me...
Jodha looks at him in pain & leaves teary eyed...Jalal turns to see her go away. He starts to feel uneasy as if something bad is gonna happen but dismisses the thought soon & gets ready for the nikah.
Jodha comes to the wedding hall but her eyes keeps searching for Benazir.
Moti we have to keep an eye on Benazir , remember what sharifuddin said she will try to kill shehenshah before nikah so we have to be very watchful.
Jodha sees how the whole palace is decked up and all the women are in excitement of the nikah and feels sad.
She then sees a tiny figure sneaking into a corner and recognises her as zakira and immediately follows her to a corner room.
Zakira - Benazir how are we to succeed when there will be so many people around shehenshah... do you think you can kill him in front of all.
Benazir - I too thought the same zakira but with Aadaham on our side we need not fear becoz as soon as shehenshah dies his men will capture Atgah saab and other men & we will be left with only women whom we can finish off in a minute. Its the shehenshah whom we should finish first.
Zakira - But how are you going to kill him ?
Benazir - Dont worry I have a plan...I have made this special kheer for shehenshah which I will feed from my own hand after tasting it...then he will be no more.
Zakira - Sounds good
Jodha overhears and understands what exactly is Benazir's plan. She silently thanks Kanha for helping her know Benazir's plan now she knew all she had to do was to stop Shehenshah from eating the kheer.
The wedding ceremony starts and all the ben are on one side & women on the other.The priest begins the rituals and Jalal steals a glance at Jodha. He finds her looking very worried and thinks how jealous she is. He congradulates himself on his mission of making her jealous by means of nikah and decides to give her more pain for rejecting him that night.
Jodha meanwhile keeps waiting for Benazir's move when zakira comes and speaks to Mahamanga and she makes a request to shehenshah.
Maham - Shehenshah benazir has a request...she has made a special sweet dish for you and wants you to taste it before the nikah so that
your future life will be sweet and memorable with her.
Jalal agrees and comes forward. Benazir comes out of the parda and zakira brings the sweet dish.
Maham - As per shahi rule every dish must be tasted by the maker before its given to shehenshah
Benazir thinks her plan is going exactly the right way & says - By all means I will taste is first. She purposelfully puts her mouth into the small bowl & tastes the kheer and offers the same cup to shehenshah. Jodha looks in horror and runs and grabs the cup from him.
Jalal - What nonsense is this
Jodha - You cant eat this its poisonous
Maham - Begum Jodha what are you talking Benazir just now tasted it how can it be poisonous when she is perfectly normal.
Jodha - She made it tasted it so only its poisonous.
Benazir - I dont know why this women hates me so much... is she so jealous of me that a Bandhi is becoming a Begum today?
Jalal - Enough Jodha begum you have crossed all the limits I cant take this crap anymore.
Jodha - You can think what you want but I will not allow you to eat this.
Benazir - See shehenshah she wants to ruin this wedding... why will I poison this food. I myself cooked it tasted it.
Jodha - I know your plan very well Benazir as soon as your mouth touched this kheer it became poisonous as you are a vishkanya.
Jalal - Stop it Jodha begum...you have told this many time there is no proof for your accusations...you just cant stand Benazir...If she has mixed poison to this kheer will she be fool enough to taste this.
Jodha - You are not understanding me shehenshah her whole body is poisonous...poison runs in her blood stream...she fell in a well and the entire well water became posion now she has touched this bowl with her mouth so its become poisonous.
Jalal - Then to prove you wrong I will eat this kheer give it to me.
Jodha with determination - No to prove myself right I will eat this. Benazir has herself tasted this kheer so I will now eat this same kheer & prove it to you.
Jalal - You are so dramatic Jodha begum You just love to create scenes and blame other. You just cant stand my happiness you are such a loser.
Jodha teary eyed - You can think whatever you want shehenshah but I am here to save my husband , I cant see him die. You told me yesterday that even if I am dying you wont look at me...see that day has already come. I take your leave.
She looks teary eyed at everyone and gulps down the kheer ...Benazir looks in shock so too Aadhham. Both see their plan flopping. Benazir slowly backs out.
Jalal keeps fuming when he turns to see Jodha slowly collapsing on the floor with her mouth covered in froth.
Jalal stands shell shocked...
