Jalal returned to his room & did namaaz.He still couldnt believe the last day's events & how close he came to loosing Jodha Begum.The very thought gave him immense pain.
Hamida comes to meet him.

Hamida - How are you my son.
Jalal - Adaab Ammi jaan are you still angry on me.You were right I dont deserve her nor her sacrifice.
Hamida - No Jalaal dont think like that.Whatever happened was not in your hands, Benazir had trapped all of us in her story but we can learn from this not to mistrust our own family for the sake of outsiders.

Jalal - You are right Ammi.
Hamida - Thanks to Jodha begum who saw the true face of Benazir or Mughal khandaan would have ended yesterday.Now that the bad time is over I want you to start afresh with Jodha.

Jalal - But will she forgive me? What not have I said her.I taunted her, humiliated her, called her names, I didnt miss a single chance to show her down and not only when we were alone but also in DEK. Oh Ammi Jaan how will I face her???

Hamida - Just the way she faced you inspite of all you did beta. There is nothing bigger than repent/apology for a mistake. Thats the first step towards rectifying a mistake.
Jalal sits down on the nearby chair with a sad face.

Hamida - Tell me Jalal when Jodha drank the kheer and collapsed what did you feel? when you were sitting beside her in her room what did you feel?

Jalal - I felt...I felt... like my breath is stuck...I may never smile again...I may never be happy again...I thought I am losing her forever Ammi.

Hamida was very pleased to hear this & said - Go to her right now Jalal and sort it out. She is too precious for you to loose her.
Jalal holds her hand & thanks her for guiding him while Hamida kisses him on his forehead & he leaves.

Hamida - Finally I have found the women who will not only show my son that he has a heart but will also make it beat.
Jalal comes out of his hojra when Atgah saab informs him of Benazir being executed.

Jalal - Thats good Atgah saab...Benazir like women doesnt deserve to be alive, dont know how many innocents she has killed, make sure you burn her poisonous body.

Jodha was in the wedding hall watching Benazir offering kheer to shehenshah, she tries to stop him but Jalal just to prove her wrong eats it and collapses on the floor.

Jodha shouts Shehenshah and gets up from her bed in shock.
Jalal - Jodha begum what happened??? Jalal asks in shock.
Jodha - Shehenshah you are alright ???

Jalal was sitting next to her on the bed and in relief Jodha hugs him. Jalal doesnt know how to react...This was the first time she had hugged him and too so hard as if she thought he will melt away from there. Jalal wanted to hug her back but was hesitant after all he did to her. Jodha breaks out of the hug embarassed. She adjusts her pallu and covers herself while Jalal looks in the opposite way.

Jalal - Are you alright Jodha begum?
Jodha nods & says - Yes I am fine... I dreamt that you ate the poisonous kheer.

Jalal - But you ate that in real Jodha begum...why did you do it? why did you risk your life for me when I never trusted you but always humiliated you?

Jodha immediately keeps her hand on his mouth & says - Nahi shehenshah I know you didnt trust me but it was not your fault as I could not prove anything. I didnt had any proof against Benazir and without proof no one will believe.

Jalal - But still Jodha begum why did you risk your life for me?

Jodha - No wife can see her husband dying in front of her shehenshah and you are the king of hindustan...a lot of lives depend on you...this whole kingdom needs you...your family needs you...your life is very precious.

Jalal - What about you Jodha begum.Do you know how many lives are linked to your life...Mughal family needs you too.
Jodha smiles at him & says - I cant see any harm coming to my husband.

Jalal is stumped to hear this & says - what did you say just now? Does this mean you feelings for me...???

Jodha suddenly becomes alert & says - When did I say I have feelings for you...you always twist my words...I heard you spent whole night sitting beside me concerned for me...does this mean you have feelingss for me???

Now Jalal became alert & said - Naa Jodha Begum dont get to wrong conclusion...

They look at each other & burst into laughing. They felt very light & relaxed in each other's company. Jalal looked at her smiling face & held her hand.

Jodha Begum I am really sorry for what all happened... pls forgive me ... you dont know how bad I have been feeling since you ate that poison...what if anything had happened to you.

Jodha cups his hand and says - Forget all this Shehenshah I have nothing in my heart against you. I am happy everything ended well. Kanhaji proved that Truth always presides over lie.

Jalal looks at her face cups it in his hand and smiles & says - You forgave me...now I want nothing more...Thank you Jodha begum...

I am completely speechless with this masterpiece!!! This is the bestest OS on current track... You have shown Jodha's pain... her worries... her concern for him... just amazing... I have read entire OS again today and all three chapters together... what a treat... You have done Marvelous jod... U DESERVE STANING OVATION FOR THIS OS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read this os yesterday night in restaurant... I was so hooked on the chapter couldn't control myself and finished entire chapter... I love your story UNKI PREM KAHANI... its been month you have not update... u r so amazing writer please update and give us treat... thank you for this amazing OS...👏👏👏
