I am astonished at having been right for once in second guessing the CVs. It happens only very rarely, as they are allergic to logic, which is what i swear by. This time, however, I responded so strongly and viscerally to the Durga dushtasamharini symbolism that when I chose to believe the precap, I did it from the heart, not, as usual, from the head. And lo and behold, I was right!

I shall open up the Moet Chandon at 8:30 pm tonight, just to be on the safe side!

No. 1 is too simple and will not pass because, as you have noted, of the lost opportunity for a dozen more episodes.

No.2: We want no more of the anantasayanam, plus how precisely will that idiot of a Shahi Hakim (remember him in inaction after the Mohan disaster?) discover that Benazir is a zehreeli dosiza? When she scratches his arm as he is treating her and he kicks the bucket?

No.3: Fie upon you, Sandhya! Get thee behind me! I will have none of this abysmal scenario!!

No.4: I have no desire to have my eardrums perforated with all this screeching. The crack about Sharifuddin expecting Jo to join him in the prison (with the kind of prison regulations followed...uski to chandi) is a gem, however!

As is the earlier one about the Chinese loving snake soup ! The Thais too, by the way. I used to take Sasha to the city centre park in Bangkok when he was a baby - he was born there - till I saw a snake vendor holding a poor reptile up, slicing it from top to bottom, and collecting the blood for the soup.Ugh.. I did not want my baby to be traumatised for life after watching that ghastly spectacle.

No.5: Would be manna from Heaven, but what precisely could that be?

It is a relief that something so phenomenal is not reduced to a dream. Jodha does deserve the halo that she is sure to get this time at the end of the post samhaar drama...(platimun studded with blue jagger diamonds ????...)

Just a thought on what the post samhaar scenarios could be...

Jodha perforates Ben to her great relief (and ofcourse the greater relief of all the viewers). Then...

1. Ben falls into water, gone forever. Jalal comes shouting to the shore followed by The Hug. The end to all MUs. Chishti Baba's lollipops served. Jalal compromises on Justice(🤢) or does the sleuthing and saves his Bhaagin.

Disadvantages: Loss of story and twists worth another 50 episodes.

2. Ben falls into water. Jalal dives in to save her and injures his other leg. Ben brought to the palace where her identity is revealed during treatment and Jo is crowned her halo. Ben is exported to China. Chinese love snake soups.

Disadvantages: We will have Jalal in the reclining pose on the diwaans for another 20 episodes not doing even the minimal rolling between the kakshs and dek that he is doing now.

3. Ben makes a last ditch attempt to deliver her final kiss and Jalal recognises her, comes to the shore and longs for The Hug and is on his knees thanking his Queen for saving his Royal life which he never could have saved otherwise. Jodha goes back to the Hoity Toity Begum mode. Jalal becomes the best puppy dog ever.

Disadvantages: There is always the risk of Akbar's spirit, (already squirming after the Tasneem track and definitely spinning after the entry of Ben) ,regardless of the peace-loving quality of his Din-il-lahi, rushing to destroy the CVs with furious vengeance.

4. Ben falls into water and is gone for good. Jalal comes to shore and accuses Jo of cold-blooded murder while desperate within. Salima supports Jo. The case of the Mughal Sultanate vs Mughal Archer Begum. (She could give Arjun a stiff competition) at DEK. Jo crying with joy and sadness combined, explaining to a weeping Moti the kartavya of patni that she always strives to fulfil (without batting an eyelid at the dhakoslabaazi), Zakira squeaking to save her tiny little life, Ruqs screeching as loudly as ever at Jalal, MA seconding her screeches, HB trio and Saleema supporting Jo, Shariffuddin expecting Jo to join him in the prison (with the kind of prison regulations followed...uski to chandi), Jalal as confused as ever () at first and then sleuthing and saving his Chudail... proving that his brains are not that frozen afterall...phew. Perfect drama masala.

Disadvantages: Viewers get teethered to the end of their patience losing all appetite for the lollipop before it is served a fifty to hundred episodes later.

5. CVs come up with a real surprise beyond our guesses that hooks us back to the show and pushes the fallen TRPs several notches up.

Disadvantages: None 😃

1. Based on Shareef's suggestion to stop Snakes supply: Jodha would have get hold of her snake baskets or trunks... alongwith teh about to run Zakira. I have my own doubts about Zakira spilling the bean but surely Jodha & Salima can dig out some mre letters from ben's den (to be sent & recd.). They would have also get hold of the antidot used to save Zakira during the poison test

Oh yes. This is another possibility.
