I am hoping for perhaps a more straightforward and less prolonged end to this track- I am hoping the sequence of events is a follows as promos are often re- editted:

- arrows are shot

- Jalal shouts Benezir

- Benezir screams villainously similar to her mid-forest pronouncement and comes towards Jalal as her final act of desperation for her love Abu Mali

- Jalal pushes her in the river

- he knows she is a vishkanya, Ben is dead, and all's well that end's well

I know, complete wishful thinking.

I know this would leave out an opportunity for a trial where Jalal will save Jodha, which I think would be great for Jalal's character, I am worried a trial leaves a string chance of a prolonging of misunderstandings. While I would love a Jalal that fights to prove Jodha innocent, I am not sure we will get that in his present state of mind. Again, if CVs surprise me I would be the happiest.

I am actually flexible with anything as long as:

- Jalal does not jump into save Ben. He can send troops to do it if he wants.

- MU that Jodha did this out of jealousy or is a murderess does not last beyond this week- I can't take these MU anymore; I also don't want him to do anything extreme like take away her khaas title which is what MA wanted

I too do not think the CVs will adopt anything so unfussy and elegant. They need more and more episodes, so one cannot blame them either. I think there will be a trial and Jalal will prove Jodha innocent, that she shot to save his life. He will never believe that she could kill in cold blood out of sheer jealousy. Never, no matter how angry and frustrated he feels now.

I am astonished at having been right for once in second guessing the CVs. It happens only very rarely, as they are allergic to logic, which is what i swear by. This time, however, I responded so strongly and viscerally to the Durga dushtasamharini symbolism that when I chose to believe the precap, I did it from the heart, not, as usual, from the head. And lo and behold, I was right!

I shall open up the Moet Chandon at 8:30 pm tonight, just to be on the safe side!

When I wrote this post last night, I had seen that there was no Like from you on those comments of mine on page 8, and so naturally I took it that you had not read them as of then. Not that I was complaining, for it is very difficult to make so much time for this forum, and then too when you are working, as you must be.

Now I see that you have gone back and marked it Like.Clever! As for me, I freely confess that I have not yet commented on your thread about your take on Jalal's thoughts. I am going off to do that now, before one of the painters - our 10 storey building is being repainted and I head the building association, of course - turns up with some foolish problem to be resolved!
