I have done 3 posts this last week, 2 because I wanted to, and one because there was of an imperative demand for it . But the one I really enjoyed doing was this last, and that was solely because of the precap. But for it, I would not have done this post only to chronicle Jodha's tears and tribulations. .

It might seem childish, Pallavi, but I do SO want the precap to be true. It was so splendid and satisfying, with the Durga Stuti playing in the background. And I do not see how the CVs can tamper with and dilute the symbolism of the Durga dushtasamharini by dragging it on. If that is what they do, I will drop out for the next week, for I will be so badly cheesed off.

The funny thing, as I had noted, was that Benazir looks worse in the shahi libaas than she did in the belly dancer costume, or your curtain sheets! I do not know why, but it is so.

The boat thing is a joke, but I suppose there was a boatman at the far end!

He will pay her a visit in her room; there he start shouting at her asking her why she risked it? Why she have to go such a length for him? And then there in that moment Jodha will do only one thing and i.e to hug him tightly. She will embrace him in her arms tightly and whisper in his ear 'I don't care. The only thing that matters to me is your safety that's all and nothing else, I cannot lose you.' Jalal will melt in her arms, all his pain, suffering will vanish right there. He will then wrap his arm around her tightly and promise her to get her out of this mess. And then Jalal will himself start the investigation to prove that Ben was a vishkanya.

By this we will get our Jalal in action, we will get the most awaited hug and by the end of this track they will be FOR each other and not AGAINST each other.

Alas! I know the chances of something like this to happen is very low.

Friday's epi was one of the better ones in this whole track..

The Jodha-Moti scene was lovely..Jo won't accept that she loves Jalal so soon is obvious, but her being almost speechless at the end and unable to give a proper reason to save his life is a lot in itself..

I wish Abdul were there for Jalal at times..a genuine, true friend who could be trusted and with whom Jalal could have shared his feelings..He doesn't give two hoots about Ben..it's only Jo who occupies his mind.

Prison rules in JA are non-existent..😆

Precap looks good..but it's going to be difficult to prove that Ben is a vishkanya if she dies...

Wouldn't it be a better idea to let a snake near her..when Jalal is around? It would just bite her and die.. 😆

I agree with u - how can Jalal be allowed to go alone with Ben in a boat at night when its known there's a spy in the palace who can harm him? When Jalal wanted to go boating earlier, Atga had wanted to send his soldiers with him. What happened now?

Waise Shyamala I have to say this - if you remember the epi where Chudail wears the Mughal costume - towards the end when TE handed her the payal and said 'Sambhal ke rakhyega' - it almost seemed it was his heart and soul he was placing in her hand and saying those words!!!

That scene definitely gives me hope that somewhere Jalal has already faced his demons and is at the last bastion!!!

I am really waiting to see RT's take when TE's last bastion falls - it will be definitely worth a dekko!!!

Jodha shoots ben down and she falls in the water. Jalal too stumped to react to catch Ben from falling and he looks around sees Jodha standing with her bow high at the banks. This should be a cracker of a scene, Jodha and Jalal confronting each other in my imagination should be the best scene in the show so far. Jodha doesn't offer any real explanation she only says she did what had to do to save him, Jalal at that moment sees what he always wanted to see Jodha does care for him so much so she will commit murder. He doesn't accuse her of anything he is only processing what he is going to do next to protect Jodha it doesn't matter to him if she is right or wrong. He grabs her hand leads her away Salima and Moti come to offer their explanations but he doesn't care to listen, he orders them to leave for the palace and not to talk or tell anyone the truth.

I am going to predict we switch to DEK scene where it is announced that Ben is dead, Jalal states that he has killed her that Jodha was right she was indeed a Vishkanya and she tried to kill him so he killed her instead. MA and Ruq everyone too shocked to even respond. No one will question Jalal on the details because he is shehenshah and everyone will take his word for it. Jodha stands up maybe to confess but Jalal silences her to not speak out of turn. DEK scene concludes with Atgha Khan ordered to find out all the spies of Abul Mali.

Next Jodha, Jalal, Salima and Moti private moment where Jodha asks why he took the blame did he really find any proof against Ben, Jalal says I didn't need any real proof your act was proof enough. The reality is it would be against her status to commit murder even if you are correct. However it is better for him to admit because he is shehenshah he can kill whoever he wants with or without proof no one will dare say anything. If you had confessed there would have been a trial, you would have to prove you are not guilty, you might or might not have succeeded and we all know what happened last DEK when you tried and failed. If you didn't succeed I would lose you forever I couldn't take such a risk, even if you did succeed either ways your image will be tarnished in court. It is a lose lose situation for me I will not tolerate my biwi accused in court of murder even if she did it for the right reasons, I will not have anyone fling any dirt on you. Justice was done to me it does not matter if you did it or I did it, my lying was not to protect a culprit, for Shehenshah justice should be all relations it still is, but I lied to protect my wife image not her crime. Salima and Moti dismissed at this point ordered by Jalal never to speak about Ben ever again, promise to take the secret to their graves.

Jodha deeply moved it is not just her even Jalal would go to any lengths to protect her. Jodha states this is the second time he protected her honour by taking the blame, Jalal states her honour is his. Jodha offers her apologies for everything for all the hurt she has caused him, Jalal understands now that she does care for him. They promise to forget the Ben incident and it shall be their secret and knowing too well neither Salima or Moti will never speak of it again. Jalal also confesses he was deeply hurt after that shove night but he wants to move past it and they both agree to forget that night, forget the letter, forget Ben and move forward in their relationship, the scene ends with a nice hug, both their wounds healed for now.

I loved your reference to Ek Boond Ishq last day. Now, that is one desperate love story, and everything we want this one to be.

You must also try Sadda Haq. I have started to watch it since last week, and it's so good that I keep advertising it everywhere.
