My take 5: January 22, 2014

While my participation in the forum is new, I have been following the forum since July and it is awesome. I know the past few weeks have been painful but love the forum's spirit through this.

I have come to accept that I am watching an Ekta Kapoor show- so what if it is an epic historic story. I can't expect logic, worry about what is next, or lose sleep over the damage of history. I can only take it one episode at a time.

I felt if I was stupid enough to watch today's episode ( sheer addiction I tell you) then I should be smart enough to cheer myself with the positives from the episode.

So, I thought I would share the top 5 things I liked about the episode. It is a new attempt so hope folks find it at least mildly entertaining. Here's my take 5 for today:

1. Jodha has found her own love guru: Moti. I liked Jodha staying up all night for Jalal and Moti trying to convey that it is due to love. Salima could have been more effective doing this. Where is Salima when you need her? (Oh sorry I am supposed to be positive here- maybe CVs are saving Salima for the final punchline)
2. Jodha admitted she met Sharifudin. At least one less misunderstanding in the future. It looks like history_geek and others have found some wonderful tracks for the CVs from history. Can I hope the CVs have not found them?
3. Jalal actually tested if Ben was a vishkanya- I was thinking he would announce the wedding in impulse Next time instead of risking lives he might have Ben try a fruit- an apple turns green if Ben bites it for future reference.
4. Ben no longer wants to bite Jalal. So she is not going to try to kiss and kill Jalal. If anything she will want to run away from the wedding. For those who did not want to Jodha to be the mahaan and save him, perhaps that is not how the track will end.
5. I am finally glad a promo shot is not completely true. I think we were all worried by Jalal's expressions of sheer stupidity in the promo- here it looks like he could care less to marry her. He does it for Ruku's pressures. I hope the promo is the misleading one and not the precap.

This is just for fun and discussion- hopefully nothing offends anyone.

Please all share at leas to one thing that you liked in this episode- perhaps we can increase the positivity amidst such ridiculous tracks.

Love all the positive points you listed! We need more like this to hang on to the show that is going down at jet speed!

Hi Divya, liked the positives u ve set out 😊 . For me the positives would be, neuther of the leads been made to look too much dumb, & Jalal really isnt all for marrying Ben (was keeping this very tiny hope inside inspite of the letdown by CVs in Jalal s characterisation recently) & despite this horrendous track most of us r abhorring, still the leads have started questioning their feelings for each other( phewww...at long last 😛 )

PS: Biggest positive, Benu baby s fully & finally gonna make her exit soon 👏 ( fingers crossed 😉 )

Some more positives other than the ones you mentioned . Just trying to have fun here 😊
