Thanks Maddy, soumya and gayatri😃
Maddy I'm over the moon that you liked the episode more than the analysis...isn't that what we were all waiting for?

Yup, soumya .jalal trusted Jodha even before Jodha presented her viewpoints...😃

But, what remains to be seen is who the people jalal is referring to tomorrow...hope it's Shivani Tej and not bharmal...because he refers to people in the plural, na?

I need to catch the episode again to watch that last look that Akdha give each other...the look that everyone seems to be talking about...😳

Btw, Maddy did you see my 'what I wish to see in the upcoming tracks' in a previous reply...
What do you think of that? 😳

Lashy, a real pleasant surprise watch indeed today s epi. After that 1st scene where Shiv s last missive to Jo was read out, I was sure Jo was a goner. The words did highly sound that Jo was an instigator & willing accomplice to Shiv s love story, but surprise surprise, it didnt turn out that way in the end 😃 .

And I was happy to hear Jo s apprehension as to how to face her Bapusa & Shahenshah. The poor thing even thought that Shivani might have been kidnapped or brainwashed . And she thought about Mughal Sultanate s losing izzat too along with Amer s 👏 .

And Ruq s was bang on too today, Jallu sure needed that blast today from her, maybe that s what finally woke his frozen grey cells up 😛 . Ya maybe some nerve from his injured foot was connected to his brain & hence its inertia recently, how about that 😉 . But regarding Tasneem track errr...ummnm..sighhh...cant find any excuses for that, so no comments 😕 .

Maybe tasneem was just that 'I want to by by myself and don't want to be disturbed...' The depression phase After the realization of what he saw little girls going through...he did look quite depressed in those taraazu moments

And the final scene when he calmly says that he believes in Jodha s innocence was a good moment. And Jo s rejoinder to Ruq s accusation too was bang on 👏 . Let s hope Jallu s grey matter wont go back into temporary storage again & will be further redeemed in Ben baby s case too 😛 .

Precap : Surely want Shivani to face the fire , she deserves it for being selfish & entirely unthinking. Hope Jo doesn't interfere in this , & yeah I am guessing Bharmal too has got out of Jalal s suspicious scanner from the precap , but Jalal is justified right now in suspecting Bharmal s intentions for agreeing to Shivani s marriage

it could be. I hope this is the case. What if the husband and wife had known all along , hence this pretense? Would not that be better? I don't think EK's cvs are intelligent enough on this though.😆 Anyway! let's see how fast Jodha will be running to save her pati dev?😆

No, of course I did not mind it, my dear, why on earth would you even think so? You are more than welcome, and it fits in better here anyway. And of course I loved your post and felt happy for you.

I felt sorry for Ruqaiya. She is too shrill and sharp, but everything she said was spot on, and Jalal knows it. But she is the only one who really cares for the prestige and power of the Shahenshah and the Mughal sultanate, partly of course because her own prestige and power are linked to that, but also because that kind of total identification is bred into her bones.

It will never be like that for Jodha. Amer will always come first, for all that must have been drilled into her from childhood that after marriage, the sasural must come first. You are all so relieved that she at least thought about the humiliation of the Mughal sultanate, even if only after that of Amer. That in itself is very revealing; it is like the Prodigal Son, who left home and was a rebel, and when he condescended to come back, he was welcomed with open arms and a fatted calf was slaughtered for the celebratory feast. The Good Son was taken for granted. Jodha is the Prodigal Daughter for all of you, and so you jump with joy when she makes some tiny gesture of respect for the Mughal royal family. There is no arguing with this.

As for Jalal, as I wrote below, I was very pleased with him today, for he seemed, at long last, to be using his mind for a change, not what passes for his heart. But I do not think he will be able to bring the matter home to Bharmal. And his scowling at a tearful Jodha, and wagging his finger at her as he threatens dire punishment for the runaways, will also all come to nothing, and will end up as the mother of all damp squibs.

Nothing Jalal says means anything any more; he tries to sound determined and fierce to convince himself that he has not become weak because of his obsession for Jodha, but he knows what the real score is and so do I. He will cave in and let them off, and I would not be surprised if he persuades Bharmal to accept the truants and endorse the marriage as well. If that happens, Lashy, I am out of here for good. Not even you will be able to hold me back this time. That kind of Jalal would disgust me; I detest men who become like poodles when they fall in love.

In fact I think that while Rajat is uniquely talented, the romantic chemistry between Viraf Patel's Mrityunjay and his Tara in Ek Boond Ishq is far superior to anything likely to emerge between Jalal and Jodha, even in the middle or long term. The pity of it is that the boy is leaving that show for films and once he leaves, I will have to drop out of it as well. But right now, the two of them are wonderful together; the screen is literally lit up with their deep, total emotional dependence on each other, and the desperate caring of each for the other. No one else exists for either. That is le grand amour, not this farce.

Hope I didn't offend you...

That scene somehow reminded me of the durg issue - though not in the same league..
it was a case of wit against fortunes...
MA's wit being pitted against Jalal/Jodha's fortunes (At this point, I'm still nervous to say Jalal/Jodha's wit😆)

But, as you said...the CVs who're trying resuscitative measures got somewhere with that scene

1) Jalal is not shown as blindly trusting Ruqaiyya - he controls his temper though his best friend was out lambasting him
As usual we know not what was going on in his mind!

2) Ruqaiyya was her usual shrieky self in that scene, but all her words made sense. In a way, it looked like she was asking Jalal the very questions, we as viewers wanted to ask - so its a form of an explanation to this 'brain-on-a-hiatus' spell of his...thankfully, she kept quiet towards the end of the scene and she shows she has no fear of losing her life as long as her friend got back to being the Emperor he was!

3) Jalal's proclamation that Jodha is innocent and his reason for the same

4) Jodha's calm but dignified handling of the matter in Jalal's chamber with that excellent manner in which she spoke of her innocence - and NOT putting up a drama when Jalal openly announces that he's going to have to question Bharmal on this

5) Jalal proceeding to take a stance against Shivani and Tej (though I don't think much is going to happen later on)

That scene spoke volumes about all 3
If these three became a team, it'd be a treat to watch!

As you said, MA's over-thinking fell flat on her own face
I'm not celebrating early...but, I am going to celebrate for today!😃
Thank you aunty!🤗

You've already made me interested in this show now...😛
I saw the RAngrasiya screenshots and they look very good too...😳
That kind of raw passion and chemistry is missing in this show lately because there are too many elements surrounding the emperor and empress all the time
