A few points which was missed.

1. After Jalal says to Ruqiyya that "yeh jooth nahe bol raye hai ruk" .. He also says "jab aap ne hame bataya tha tab bhi ham jaanthe the ki yeh jooth nahe bol rahe hai . Lekin phir bhi ek baar aap ke tasali keliye hamene inse pooch liya"

2. When he says "Aap jaasakthe hai Jodha Begum".. Jodha turns to leave but she turns back and sees Jalal... I felt Jalal too had tears in his eyes.

Not sure if he cant see Jodha with tears.

IF the CVs show Jalal's intelligence in Abul Mali-Ben issue too and offer some dumb patch up explanation for the Tasnim track,...then everything muaaf.
