Lovely, Lashy. especially the part in blue. It is overall so beautifully done, and so convincing, that I did not even mind the warmish parts, which were, moreover, not excessive even for an old fogey like me!
And what a charming phrase
petalline water! You should write more, my dear, instead of spending 6 hours or more on each episode analysis and the responses to the comments. Unless of course you can manage both.

It might not be to everyone's taste. That is a given, seeing the wide variation in personal tastes in fiction and commentary, but you
know you are good, plus you have gone to a good bit of effort to produce this. If it is not to someone's taste, that is not your problem!
Something I did to while my time today...nothing really exceptional since the tracks currently aren't too great either...but, just thought it might temporarily raise a few spirits (hoping) - while reading through!!!! Might not be to everyone's tastes...

OS - 'I have something IMPORTANT to tell you, Jodha Begum' he whispered
'When he made that statement, his face didn't have the typical sly smirks she expected. Instead, his expressions were now strangely serene. She cursed the day that had intertwined her fate with his - why did he have to be a myriad of such confounding emotions?
Proceeding to wipe the tear that was now clinging onto her eye - something that only disturbed the queen even more - he lifted her chin up with authority so she'd have to face him. Dropping his voice to a husky whisper, he went on to convey what he'd wanted to 'She was around me all these days and yet I know not the colour of her eyes...she tried spending many-a-night with me and yet I barely even touched her...because someone I know of with doe-like hazel eyes was constantly in my mind all through... now, why don't YOU spend some time thinking about all this...'
