The Maulvis, the harem ladies the whole Agra waited in the entrance waiting for Jalaluddin to arrive, as they had seen him a 3 months ago, all the Begums of the harem were decorated themselves as a doll, to impress thier husband, no one could match each other in beauty, it was true Jalals harem was filled with beautiful ladies, unique in their own style...
But they knew if they miss this oppertunity to capture Jalals attention than they wont get again, as Jalal always gave importance to his chief queens, as they knew their status was nearly to a bandhi...infront of Ruquaiyya and salima...
Hamida Bhanu called out for Ruquaiyya Begum ordering Resham to look for Jalals chief queens...
Maham had just returned from her trip and came along with Ruquaiyya and salima Begum, and Little Rahim was also accompanying...
they waited from the early morning, at last they could get the glimpse of Jalal and his army...all the eyes waiting for his glimpse and seems to be delighted and thier eyes seems to be widened with happiness...
Hamida has missed her son a lot, Maham was extremely happy to see Jalal as he was her son she had more influence on him than HB.
Jalal just got down from his ride and smiled at Ruquaiyya begum, this made Hamida and Maham unhappy...
Hamida was not happy with Jalals cold behaviour towards her, Maham was also not pleased as she dint like Jalal giving more importance to Ruquaiyaa Begum, even though she was his chief queen , Maham hated her, as she had a ability to rule over Jalals mind...
Jalal greeted Hamida marium makhani, and hugged Maham manga this act of Jalal disturbed both salima and ruquaiyya this upsets the HB. as her love of a mother could not match jalals affection to Maham..
other begums were trying to grab Jalals attention when Jalal saw them together he just did salaam to them, this again disappointed the harem ladies...as all thier efforts to impress him went in vain again...
Maham just spoke to Bakshi Banu saying that a new Begum is brought to Agra and Bakshi Banu go and get her out of Palkain first,and said " i doubt the new begum might be thinking where she has arrived, go and get your Bhabhi jaan,.."
this made Bakshi banu smile, but javeda Begum was more happy to recieve the new Begum as she had heard of stories of Rajput ladies their bravery their dressing sense and their beauty...
So before Bakshi reaches Palkain, Javeda ran towards it... this made maham furious thinking that is she really my Daughter in law Adhams wife... she just could not say anything to Javeda...as the crowd was full of ladies and one word out of Javedas mouth can bring her prestige down ...
Javedas eagerness to bring new begum out of palkain made everyone laugh...
Javeda bent towards palkain and told the new Begum that
"main aapki Badi Bhabhi jaan hoon, Javeda Begum " please come out of the palkain as we were waiting for your arrival in Agra, specially me, i was so excited you know...
Maham told Resham to take Javeda as she will not allow the Rasams to complete by her nonstop talking... Resham smiled at Maham and took Javeda nearby to Maham..
Javeda was not pleased with this... Maham widened her scary eyes which made Javeda calm...
Jodha was scared to see so many people infront of her, Bakshi Bhanu took Jodhas hands and brought her near Jalal, Hamida Bhanu took out Jodhas ghoonghat and saw her noor and she was quite impressed with her beauty she smiled at Jodha, and said " Jodha Begum aap wakahi maein bahuth Khoobsoorath hai"..
this made Jalal smirk at Jodha he felt too proud to bring a beauty to harem. who has lowered her eyes still...
Maham manga came forward and introduced everyone to Jodha
"ye Marium makhani hai, aapki saas, "
Jodha went to seek her blessings and this irritated Maham but HB was quite impressed with her...
" Ye Ruquaiyya Begum shehensha ki pehli begum aur mallika e hind, and ye hai salima Begum shehensha ki doosri begum, aur ye hai Bakshi Banu shehensha ki choti behen, and hum hai wajeer e aliya, shehensha ki badi ammi, aur ye hai jeeji anga aur gulbadan begum"
Jodha wished all the women..they wished her back...
Hamida Bhanu signalled Bakshi to do the rituals for new Begum, Jalal was not happy standing for long time and he said to HB that he has lots of work today so he took the leave of the ladies ...before leaving he asked Ruquaiyya Begum to look after the new Begum, Ruquaiyya smiled back assuring him she willl...
Jodha was taken inside the harem by the ladies, but Javeda seems to be over excited and told to Ruquiyya that she too will join them ...
Ruquaiyya smiled at Javeda and asked Moti and Jodha to follow her to Harem, Javeda was nonstop in blaberring Resham held Javedas hand and forcibly took her without anyone noticing them, Maham was quite relieved finally Javeda is with Resham, at the entrance of harem she called Hoshiyar and said show this new begum her place in harem and make an arrangement for her to get ready for Jashn in the evening untill i appoint a new bandhi to this new Begum...
hoshiyar seems to be not happy with Ruquaiyyas insistence that to help Jodha Begum, as he was scared that if Ruquaiyya begum dont find any enuch for Jodha begum she may appoint himself as Jodhas bandhi in harem, this thought scared him, and wished that she wants to remain a bandhi to chief queen only not to some common begum in harem...Ruquaiyya noticed Hoshiyars unhappiness ... and smiled at him...
Hoshiyaar took them to a room and told
" Jodha Begum this is your room from today and you have hamam attached to it, and if you need any help you can ask me"
Jodha glanced at the room it was okie not so grand , Moti Bai spoke
"Rajkumari, ye kamra acchi hai, lekin itni acchi nahin hain jaisi aapki thi"
Jodha stared at Moti and asked her to shut her mouth...
Hoshiyar spoke up , what did you say this is one of best room in harem, after marium makhani, ruquaiyya begums and salimas begums room this room is the best..
see the sculpture and design, this big royal bed its given only to chief queens not to some common begums,..
Moti got annoyed with this and she saw windows and doors she was shocked..
ye kya hain it dont have doors at all...
Hoshiyaar told this is harem where there is no doors are fitted .. as only shehensha can walk in to any room at any time, each door is employed with enuchs and all will be protected with pardas and security
and most important rule is no one is allowed in harem without Ruquaiyya Begums permission...
Hoshiyar told the rules of Harem to Jodha and Moti...
Jodha seems to be tierd to listen to Hoshiyaar and said i need to take rest moti, i will sleep for sometime and even you seems to be tiered take some food and take rest...
Hoshiyaar said yes take rest now as you need to get ready for function in evening saying this Hoshaiyar was about to leave...
Moti asked what function it is, hoshiyar informed there is nikha ceremony and jashn after that and Jodha begum will get her outfit soon and salima Begum will come to get her ready in the evening till than take rest
saying this hoshiyar left...
Jodha told i need some rest and she slept on bed like innocent child who is not interested in anything in this world...

Hoshiyaar hurried to Ruquaiyyas room who was busy in her hookah,
Ruquaiyya knew that he has some news to tell her...
"bolo hoshiyaar why you seem to be so restless"
Begum sahiba , that new bandhi Moti bai is not so good she questions me and insults me how dare she does... he was ranting about moti..
Ruquaiyya seems to be irritated with this and shouts at him to shut his mouth...
Hoshiyar gets scared and holds her legs asking her forgiveness
" i asked you to keep an eye on hindu begum not on her bandhi telll me did you get any news about of her"
no begum sahiba, the hindu begum was so quite and calm she seems to be tiered and wanted to take rest, the way she was behaving i felt like she was not interested in anything about of harem, she dint listen anything about harem and went to sleep"
Ruquaiyya was shocked that Jodha was not interested in Harem, she smiled to herself thinking that this girl is upto something...

Salima begum was called inside Ruquaiyya chamber by ruquaiyya
she handed over a clothes and ornaments to Salima Begum so that she can get Jodha Begum ready on time,
Salima was quite pleased with the clothes and ornaments, and she asked
Ruquaiyya Begum this outfit is really beautiful and its green in colour shehenshas favourite, and its Rajvanshis outfit , any reason behind this favour...
Ruquaiyya answered back i am not favouring any Begum, being the first chief queen and harems head its my duty to look after the new begums and it was Shehenshas insistence that New Begum wears rajvanshi clothes, as shehensha has promised her that her she can wear her rajvanshi clothes here in Agra
Salima smiled at Ruquaiyya and said
Dont you think Ruquaiyya begum, this New Begum is quite impressed shehensha so early ...
Ruquaiyya smiled at her...
i hope so she has really impressed shehensha , i feel that she has done something big in her Amer so that Shehensha has got so much meherbaan on her..
without a reason shehensha wont do any work, whether it is a hate or love, but i see something else in his eyes towards new Begum which i dint see in his eyes for any begum...
