Can someone tell me why was jalal looking so intently at the kanha statue in jodha's room. Didn't get the significance of the scene?

He is seeing that more pankh nd basuri only...
As Jodha placed it over her Kanha he understud dat she valued his gift...
But wen jodha asked wether he is going to gift her Kanha also to Ben he told its of no use for her,..

He was admiring the Krishna statue. With a level of curiousity of the religion. It intrigued him.
One more possibility is that he saw the fact that his gift had been very much valued by her.

the editing during that scene was very poor I couldn't get it until Jodha asked jalal if he is thinking of giving it to benazir as he is fond of giving jodha's things to her.

Also, jalal has assessed benazir to be greedy and shallow. the peacock feather and flute have sentimental and religious values and benazir is neither sentimental nor hindu to understand the true value of that gift.
