for the detailed post of mirza hakim , and here i was thinking oh... he is so cute ... but anywways , what remains to be seen is how the show people deal with this one , it is an interesting angle ...

and iam amazed to think , tht akbar had so many challenges going on all his life , the lives of the kings was not all tht goody goody you see ...it would be great to see all those facets of his life on the show as well ...

The mughal chronicles (akbarnama etc) are supposed to have exaggerated the the claim of hakim being a drunkard and an incompetent ruler. They give a biased view of Hakim, supposedly. An exception to this was Bada'uni who had a very indifferent approach to him in his book while others were busy inventing new expletives for him.

Akbar was said to heave a sigh of relief upon the news of Hakim's death.

Seriously, this person was highly frustrated with Akbar.
But, his frustration is a blessing in disguise for us.
Atleast, we got to know, why and how jalal did all that good stuff ?
