If directed properly Ekta has a ready made masala in the form of their stories waise hi...but, I doubt the CVs will really stick to authentic accounts.

My problem is not as much the bringing in of a semi-fictional character like vishkanya, it's about how the entire thing is being executed...😭

Some lovely info there Syria...👏

Thnx..
Well said...😊...

MIRZA MUHAMMED HAKIM

Hi all...
Ok...I am done with it finally..Otherwise, this spiral of Hakim will go on increasing..
Even, Mansi's thread was flocked with similar comments on Thursday...

So, here we go...

"Minor" <😕<< Update on Mirza Hakim..(though this is not minor by any angle..!!..)

Akbar's stepbrother.

Father ->Humayun
Mother -> Mahachuchak Begum(check spellings, many are prevalent.😕)
Timeline -> 29 April 1553 - 2 August 1585/10 October 1585(confusion)
Born -> Pargana of Hisar, Kabul (same day as another brother Ibrahim was born, died young.)
Died -> same place as above
Reason -> Excessive Drinking
Burial -> Royal Garden of Babur/Bagh-i-Baburi, Kabul

Before starting, i would like to mention -> Hakim and Man Singh WILL be at loggerheads.😆..I do not know "exactly WHEN" but they will be...Seriously...!!..may be later..

Brief info on Hakim's Mother:

First Munim khan served her till 1560.
Munim then went in personal service of Akbar.

After that, Munim's son Ghani khan continued. She formed political alliance with Ghani khan's uncle Fazail beg to get Ghani eliminated but ended up getting murdering Fazail Beg first.!!..😕

For me she is MA part2 or to be precise FEMALE version of BRUTUS (remember Julius Caesar?). (i am DELIBERATELY not writing more on her, or you all will feel Jalal was always surrounded by conspirators.😕.which is a bitter truth..Though he had LOYAL friends as well..)

She first appointed Shah Wali as Hakim's caretaker (like Bairam for Akbar)...and then...got him killed by one Qasim Haider khan.😕

Around 1562/3 when Munim khan was sent to control Hakim by Jalal(hope u remember on show it was shown..?), she "personally" led the forces😲 and forced Munim khan to flee from Jalalabad, thus maintaining independence of Kabul.!!..

To keep her position strong vis-a-vis Akbar, she forged alliance with people who opposed Akbar. Example: Abul Mali by marrying Hakim's sister Fakhrunissa to Abul Mali and gave him a safe heaven in kabul.

(Though akbarnama says, she was misleaded by her own nobles about real nature of abul mali.😕 Later abul mali killed her in april 1564 and her close associates.)

Sensing opportunity, Mirza Sulaiman of Badakshan invaded kabul and with help of hakim's loyalists and captured abul mali and on hakim's order strangled abul mali to death.

Till her assasination by abul mali in 1564, she tried following 2 things
1. prevented mirza to fall in influence of akbar loyalists.
2. secure throne for him somehow.

Moral: She did all that what MA did for Adham. As simple as that.

Continued: Mirza Hakim

Hakim ruled as a de-facto ruler under his mother initially. Tried usurping Mughal throne from Akbar. Executed endless conspiracies against Jalal, from Kabul...😕...

Abul Fazl has given an apt description of him -> "A man without a cool head, not content with his estate, who executed evils."...(will soon quote EXACT words.).Even, chronicles have described him as a bigot.😕

I do not know what his problem was but he ALWAYS conspired against Akbar. Sitting in Kabul he troubled him. Akbar initially ignored him, did not punish him. ("Bhaichara factor.".Bacha samaj ke maaf kar diya..). But, he mistook it to be Akbar's weakness- a major fault of Hakim.!.!.

Such was his desperation that it's said he even, asked help from Persia, Uzbekistan, Transoxianan countries, etc. against Akbar, and sent his diplomats there!!! Even, he won the support of 'most barbaric and feared tribes' of the hills of Kabul, Kandahar and other places against Akbar!!!... The most fierce and dangerous support he got was from the Uzbeks - they were very barbaric/highly accomplished fighters. Their weapons were primitive but laced with poisons. HIghly accomplished guerilla fighters..He was hand in gloves with Uzbeks. He "created" such conditions that brought Akbar into confrontation with Uzbeks. When Akbar was busy handling Uzbeks in 1566, even than he carried his unscruplous acts .

Back to topic::(mentioning Uzbeks, since they troubled Akbar a lot..!!..)

"Uzbeks - described as deadly enemy of Mughals..", right from Babur to Aurangzeb, and even Later Mughals.. They created a lot of troubles and conspiracy after conspiracy to de-stabilize Akbar's rule. Akbar finally was able to win Kandhar around 1594(plz check dates..m not sure..), when Man Singh was sent against them, but it was lost under Shah Jahan in 1649. Aurangzeb and later Dara Shikoh were sent against Uzbeks that time, but they could not defeat them.

BTW, Uzbeks troubled Akbar BADLY...Resulting in the famous, Mughal-Uzbek Conflict(1564-66). They were spontaneous raids but HIGHLY dangerous...

Raja Birbal lost his life fighting against them and other tribes in 1589. Finally, again Man Singh was sent against them. He fought against them, despite the fact that his father, Raja Bhagwan Das had just passed away...(Man Singh was TOO loyal to Akbar. Akbar called him his 'FARJAND'-meaning son.)

Important info:

It is mentioned from starting Man Singh was 'wary' of Hakim's evil plans.(?do not know how but he was..it is said..)

Man Singh intercepted 3 letters of Mirza Hakim, after defeating a general of Hakim around 21-22 December 1580. The letters were Hakim's reply to 3 people, whom Akbar considered his 'Faithfuls'.😲..(will quote their names later) Through these letters, they shared some ''Saazish" against him. I am trying to find out exact episode. Will update it later. The point is, Akbar had many conspirators, but, MAJORITY were his closer ones..Who lived near him..He was deceived by his close relatives...😕..I personally feel odd for him..

BTW, Akbar still forgave a few of those conspirators, to be deceived again.😕..Again, they were exposed by Man Singh...😲..

Continuing this episode..
This is the case of 1580-81.
Almost, entire sultanate was in revolt against Akbar..

Now, from Bengal and Bihar Afghan subedars attacked and revolted...
Raja Todar Mal sent there..(Finance Minister)

Condition was more severe in Kabul.
From, Kabul, Hakim Marched...and reached Lahore, Punjab..
Man Singh sent there to fight him.

Man Singh (Again.!😕!...it seems he wanted to fight against Hakim...), was sent against Hakim...
Akbar/Man Singh had underestimated Hakim's plans, it seems. Actually, Hakim had 15,000 horses alone + a mounted infantry + superior guns of Persian origin + archers + those deadly tribal people... Man Singh was almost outnumbered...!!!.

P.S.--> It was Man Singh who was sent to fight, not Akbar himself. Even Bhagwan Das was present.
Many books give Akbar crushed the rebellion, which is not totally correct . Consult chronicles for correct details..

Asked to surrender, Man Singh refused, and asked Hakim to attack him and he declared -> "I owe my faith to my king(Jalal.), i and my fighters will fight till last breath.etc.etc.blah blah.. " Hakim wanted to capture him alive...(BTW, EVEN Man Singh's exact words to Hakim are recorded in chronicles.😲.If you want i will update??)

Keeping short, Hakim was defeated, by comparatively small army of Man Singh-who suffered "badly".
The battle continued with stout resistance from Man Singh..!!!!...
Man Singh, and Hakim..none of them ready to give up..

Finally, Hakim fled.
He even tried to instigate the local population against Man Singh on religious grounds.(he tried every treacherous move).

Hakim had also forged an pre-alliance with some of Punjab nobles to assist him, but they backed out at last moment.

Meanwhile, Akbar started for Lahore with a force of 50,000 horses.(by the time he reached there, war was already over and Hakim fled to nearby hills.)..
(I also read somewhere, Mirza Hakim, fled "even" from the hills after Akbar "darao"fied him.(i mean afraid of Akbar)😆...Khauf-e-Akbar...👍🏼)

Note:-> Akbar sent his generals to take hold of Hakim's sons, Khaikhubad & Afhrasiyaab, both below 10 years. They were virtually put in house arrest around 1585, in the Mughal gardens of Lahore/Kabul(i forgot exact location.)

Continue:

Finally, Akbar gave the rule of Kabul in hands of Hakim's sister, Baktunissa (check the name..).
Though, she returned throne back to Hakim, later.
Hakim died soon in 1585.
Akbar got rid of Hakim, But Uzbeks became new active irritants. Now most famous enemy from now on from 1585 till 1598 will be Abdullah Khan Uzbek.

It's another story. Leave it for later.

This issue of Man Singh and Hakim is going to be interesting..Man Singh blocked Hakim's plans. Wait...You will see all this in show..

@Maddy...Hope..!!..You got to know another person who backstabbed Akbar, despite being his close relative. So, add this name to your list of following "Aanstein Mein chipe Saanp", --->>Maham Anga, Adham Khan, Abul Mali, Sharifuddin, Mahachuchak Begum, and wait...the list is ENDLESS.!!...Soon, you will get "minimum" 4 more names...And some of most unexpected ones who are less famous in history...Keep watching...!!..

@KDR81...As you always say, i wanted to give a minor update, and even after you removed 4 big paragraphs from this writeup, i still ended up writing a NEW THREAD.😆...BTW..."A BIG Thanx" for giving crucial dates and names...👍🏼...

Error, if any regretted, just writing at one stretch, what i remember, though possibility is VERY LESS.
Finally...Full Stop...Fatigued...Exhausted..!!.🤢..

(i have "skipped" various tracks which you will get in future related to Hakim..Will update as & when they are about to unfold on show..)

P.S -->> Do not go on BHOLI BHALI shakal of our charming,⭐️ 007 & INNOCENT looking Shahzada Mirza Muhammed Hakim. He is the male version of our DEAR MAHAM ANGA "JI" .

P.P.S -->> He is going to TROUBLE Akbar seriously. And his secret letters getting caught by Man Singh and plans getting foiled, is something i am waiting to watch...(provided it is shown..!!..)
..(See the contrast--Bhai marne pe laga hua hai 😕..Aur Man Singh ki loyalty ka jawab nahi...That's why Akbar called him, his "Farjand" .)

P.P.P.S.-->> Do not reject it as "ANOTHER" fictional story.😉😆

ALSO.--> Almost entire forum wanted to know what blue/green colored liquid Vishkanya Ben was carrying in her mouth.😆...And, questions about their existence and MODUS-OPERANDI..

Check foll. link, 2 separate posts by me and KDR81 on page - 17.
