But isn't it obvious that whenever a law is made it is applicable only in prospective. If Jalal-Ruqaiya wedding is invalid, so are all the underage weddings in the state that took place earlier. What will all the married girls who had been married nabaliks and lived with their husbands for many years do? Won't hell break lose in the society?

If Jalal issues the cut off day as that day then AK, stands to gain as he had proposed and his wedding finalised before the law came in vogue. His marriage will have to be accepted. For the sake of one Tasneem, Jalal cant risk his own nikaah to Ruqaiya and all the other marriages and the future and conditions of all the women who married at a young age. Lets see if they find a way out that satisfies both counts.

We do all weep for the 3 central characters who are all right but are left with a sense of frustration by the villain.esp the couple in question

Ruqaiya, as she says in the precap, has been with Jalal through thick and thin and has had to face this day. Inspite of all her haughtiness and pride she has been most loyal to Jalal.

If any of us were in her place, we'd tear down the whole palace.

Ruks is right everybody stands up for Jo but not for her . Today her husband best friend and king let her down . She was the only one fighting for her marriage. Haven't watched but why doesn't Akbar say ruks wasn't forced but tasneem is being forced ?

Also I hope Jo learns that everything the shehenshah does has far reaching consequences. She needs to learn to cover all her bases especially since back then everyone was married without asking the girl her opinion or her age . This should have been tackled slowly and a temporary halt should have been put on aks impending wedding

One persont hat has been increasingly impressive with every episode is Atgah Khan. A normally otherwise polite and quieter person the way he stepped up and spoke to Adham was impressive.

Jodha - I have a feeling she will come up with a solution that will prevent Jalaal-Ruqqu divorce. However guilt is not easy to deal with.

In a kings life there will be issues like this everyday so the creative team has to creatively squeeze in moments...
