I know I know that we are all right now fuming at Adham's insolence...and at MA's heartless nature...but, my my my - the manner in which the episode was shot blew me away!
There might be loopholes in this track too - but, the manner in which it was executed today has shushed a lot of the questions that we have been putting forth. This is possibly the most 'justifiably' and 'logically' confusing track if you know what I mean. 😆

JALAL AND ADHAM
As a king, Jalal is stranded at a juncture in life that many-a-king would have found himself standing (with parallel stories, possibly not the same one). How can he rectify a seemingly innocent past in his life when going ahead to try and make changes for the future for the goodwill of his kingdom! He is not at fault and yet Adham has twisted his words at court in such a manner that could end up projecting Jalal in bad light. In fact, even the usually shrewd Jalal was unable to answer him.

Adham played his cards wisely today (and for the first time, I have a shred of acknowledgement for the presence of any capability in him, albeit a villainous one!)
1) He made sure that Jalal proclaimed himself bound by the same law BEFORE putting forth the issue of Ruqaiyya and Jalal's wedding.
2) He made sure he brought up the point that his issue with Tasneem has been ongoing BEFORE the law was brought about.
At the end of it all, Jalal is now at possibly one of the most difficult crossroads in his life - do a good deed and pass the law (which by the way, he has already signed off) while risking his relations with his best friend forever!
or
Take his own decision and risk gossip/general displeasure/questions amongst his people.

To top it all, this issue has once again torn him between his two Begums - where both are not really wrong!

What splendid acting by RT - be it, the regal stares he gave Adham and MA as they kept prolonging the issue in court, be it the anger he was overcome by when Adham brought up the divorce issue or the profound agony he felt on watching the state of his best friend being torn to bits in his chamber! I am REALLY intrigued to see how this problem is tackled!

RUQAIYYA
As I predicted, Ruqaiyya was indeed miffed by Jodha. As far as she is concerned - had Jodha not brought it up, this wouldn't have happened - though, she was supporting the cause too to get back at MA till this new twist transpired.
Nevertheless, she still didn't deserve what happened to her in court.
In the scene in Jalal's chamber where Ruqaiyya demands justice from a head-hung-in-shame Jalal, my heart truly went out to the couple! Any queen in her spot would have felt so humiliated and torn when her own valid and marriage-of-pride was unfortunately dragged thus in court! Worse, neither did the duty-bound Shehenshah stand up for her - nor did her Mother-in-law (who by the way HAS stood up for Jodha in the past!). ALL her questions were valid...

JODHA
I'd just as much hate to be in Jodha's shoes. Imagine - you're desperately trying to do good for one person, but the intentions hopelessly end up producing such a horrible ripple effect! As it is, relationships are so delicate in the Harem, such an act would only leave Jodha wallowing in the chagrin of it all. There's nothing worse than having to deal with your own conscience - when a good deed of trying to save an innocent life actually ends up shattering lives of many others!

ATGAH
Also, I have to praise Atgah Khan today. The manner in which he tried to warn Adham and stood up for Shehenshah has made me his fan!

MY TAKE
Yes; as avid analyzers of the show and viewers with interest in history - we might still ponder and peruse on all of it realizing that nothing shall happen to Ruqs and Jalal. However, as a general viewer without any idea of Jalal-Ruqs history - I can imagine today's episode might have left many on the edge of their seats!

My heart wept for Jodha
My heart wept for Jalal
My heart wept for Ruqaiyya

superb episode, and yes adam khan after so much of time atleast reaallyt used his evil and wise mind and put jalal in trouble. somewhere even MA was pleased and shocked to see her not so intelligent son suddenly gain so much courage and also wisely playing the game without her assiatance now.

i want romance,i want romance ,i want romance 🥺

Jalal is way too lenient with Adham Khan...no one can question the Emperor in his court and then he humiliates his marriage and his wife...if it wa anyone else other than Adham..Jalal would have beheaded him...that is what pricks ruqaiyya too...MA always has that upper hand and by default so does Adham...he had punished that woman who had questioned his marriage to jodha coz she was a commoner ...and he did not come to her defence is what hurting her too

a woman who gloats on her pride and position if she is dragged like this into open court that too an Empress...she will raise hell for sure and that is what we saw...she lashed out at everyone

we all know Jalal will come up with a solution and ban child marriage and keep his marriage intact...

but i seriously wonder where is this heading...jodha is so guilt ridden she may further distance herself from Jalal for ruqaiyya...

i am so fed up...i want to see romance romance romance...

and i am not shedding my tears for this nonsense where Adham Khan makes absurd claim and gets away with speaking absolute nonsense

Stellar episode in terms of execution.
Rajat was again marvelous.
One persont hat has been increasingly impressive with every episode is Atgah Khan. A normally otherwise polite and quieter person the way he stepped up and spoke to Adham was impressive.
My heart went for all the 3. Ruqu, Jalal, Jodha.
Ruqqu is fuming, understandably so. I feel for her. Even when this issue is sorted she might have a grudge against Jodha.
Jalaal - Never mustve thought his wedding at the age of 11 , would be the object of scrutiny. His restraint was remarkable.
Jodha - Indirectly the cause, feeling guilty as hell. I have a feeling she will come up with a solution that will prevent Jalaal-Ruqqu divorce. However guilt is not easy to deal with. My heart does go out to her.I have a feeling she too along with Ruqqu expected Jalaal to put Adham in his place. Going by the talk with Moti. Not sure...
Whatever it is , its clear at the end of this, Jodha is going to reap Adham and Maham's wrath combine it with Shareef's wrath , we know how its going to come back to haunt her soon.
We all know that rules are guidelines laid to be followed in future. But kudos to the creative for executing something that's really not the case so convincingly.
Lashy Kanna, yesterday even amidst a burning issue, I was looking for Jo-Ja moments...😆😆😆😆😆 And today too was a tad disappointed.
In a kings life there will be issues like this everyday so the creative team has to creatively squeeze in moments...

Nice post di..
Today's episode really cracked me up. The real Akbar would have killed Adham then and there.

Forget about Adham's completely senseless point..What if the rule was: No girl below the age of 18 will give birth to kids or something. Adham Khan would demand they go back where they came from 😆

True, Lashy. I sympathised with Ruq s completely & her angst against Jalal & Hamida for not standing up for her were very valid too. Felt bad for Jalal too for he could nt get in a word sideways to Ruq s rant . But am sure something s cooking up in his brain, his silence is the one before the storm. Really dunno what he s gonna come up with to checkmate Cheapam.

And MA, grrr... 😡 , all I ll say is vinaash kaale vipareeth buddhi. Jalal was sure eyeing her astutely when she stood up to support her Cheapam against Atgah. He has finally started seeing her true colors, I d say.

And Jodha, what to say, do feel bad for her being indirectly the cause of this whole mess. Sighhh...anticipating tomm s epi already.

Nice analysis Shraddha...after watching today's episode I m like🤪...my prediction abt the precap was true..but really I feel very bad for Ruq...she was justified in all her madly actions...anyone in her place would have done the same...but no one can understand Jalal's condition...he has to face defeat in both the cases - if he cancels the new law or follows it...poor Jalal.

Jodha-Moti scene looked suspenseful...when Moti told Jodha its not ur fault she replied I agree its not my fault & I know whose fault is this & when Moti asked further she asked her to go...what does she mean??😕...I can't tolerate the idea of divorce..😡..and I know such will not happen...CVs are in a habit to surprise us...they'll come up with such a solution that we could have never thought...😆

i know alakh we all came up with all sorts of scenarios like this from yesterday to today...yet, the manner in which adham put it forth today did leave shehenshah speechless for a while...he didn't expect his 'main aaj se sochna bandh kar doonga' bhai to come up with such cunning forms of retort and study of the law!😆
