Maan Singh returns from Amer and comes to speak to Jalal. He apologises for not being able to reach before the emperor's birthday,but the journey had to be put on hold due to unfavourable weather conditions.
As they are talking,Resham arrived with Maham's letter addressed to Jalal. Masn Singh goes to rest meanwhile. Jalal wonders why Maham sent a letter,even they both were in the palace at the time. He asks Adka saahab to read the letter.
In the letter,Maham had thrown a googly. Clever that she is,she indirectly made Jalal feel guilty for taking decisions on his own,unlike before,where he would discuss it with her.
She had written,that she wad very proud of him,because now he is capable of taking decisions on his own,so he does not need her,the wazir-e-alia. Hence,she requested him to withdraw her name from the ministry and also,to give her permission to go to Mecca on piligrimage.
The genuine mitherly feelings he had towards her showed and Jalal senses that she was miffed. He goes to talk to her rightaway. Maham tells the same that she knew he could take decisions on his own now. This she knew,because in all the recent events,Jodha fake pregnancy,Bakshi bano issue or the subehdaar issue,he had not had a word with her.
she taunted him saying,even salima knew about the fake pregnancy,but not her. However,that she could let go,because it was his personal matter. But she did rub it on his face that all these years,she had taken all his personal decisions.
Jalal feeling deeply guilty,tries hard to make her understand,that he didn't take those decisions on his own, to put down her importance in his life,he did that only to prove it to himself,that he was capable of taking decisions on his own.
Maham doesn't give her act a redt,in the end he asks her if she considers him as his son? She replies with a firm yes,much more than Adham. Then he asks her if she respected the shahenshah? Again,a firm yes.
Jalal then says that as a son,she requests her to understand that she still was very important to him and as the shahenshah,he orders her to stay in Agra.
Maham sheds crocodile tears,innocent Jalal empathised.
Cut to,Adham tries to lay hands on Tasnim again,but is stopped by Jodha. But the arrogant man he is,he 😆refuses to apologise. Instead he says that he had done nothing wrong. He challenges her to do whatever she wanted about it,but he was very sure that nothing will happen to him.
Jodha directly goes to Jalal and narrates the entire story. As soon as she ebtered,Jalal teases her,asking,what was bothering her so much,that she forgot to do her 'namaskar' :P
Before she told him the story,she says that she was very sure that Jalal would also feel that this matter was serious.
After he hears the story,Jalal is furious. He promises Jodha that judtice will be done. He orders Adham to be present in the deewaan-e-khaas on the next day.
Meanwhile,this news reaches Maham and Adham. Maham shouts at Adham for crossing ways with Jodha again. In the end,she comes up with a plan.
Next day in the deewaan-e-khaas. Jalal asks Jodha to outforth her complaint. Once she is done,he says that,he didn't want punishment to be declared,just on a doubt. Thus,she gave the right to take that decision to the wazir-e-alia,Maham. Jodha's forehead furrows. Jalal understands the query,he then explains that,yes,Maham was Adham's mother,but she was also wazir-e-alia and he is very sure that she will not be biased.
Maham.irders Adham to come forward. She declares that the wazir-e-alia would be speaking to him now,not his ammi jaan.
Adham says that he would like to defend himself. On his defence,he says that he was in 'love' with Tasnim. And love wasn't a crime,was it? Jalal raises an eyebrow,certainly aware where this wiuld be going.
Adham then says that,he wants to take care of Tasnim and her family,thus marry her. Their religion allowed this and many have multiple wives already(taunting Jalal).
Precap : Jodha tells Jalal that she does not hate him any more. She respects him becuase he trusts her and in return,she trusts his decisions.
