I don't know why people assume MUZ was christian. Akbar did have a christian wife, but she did not hold the power and status as Amer princess.here is an interesting read on the painting.http://armeniancollege.in/?p=2583&print=1

Sorry..
But, i have a doubt...
He did not have a Christian wife, as far as i know.

Go thru various accounts of Europeans, and there they always assign Akbar's Christian wife to be MUZ only..

That's what i wrote in my post.
None, of Indian accounts(any kingdom in INDIA!!), as far as i know, says akbar had christian wife..

Don't confuse.😊

is not the palalce of MUZ the biggest proof that she was a Hindu not Christian. Than why are dutch, british, and portuguse hell bent on proving her as a Christian?🤔

"The palace"..!!!!!
infact, that is the "ONLY THING" they use to give weight to their theory of christian wife.
How and Why.???
The next thread will be on MUZ palace only, (if anything interesting doesn't comes in between).
there we can see..

they say "Mariam" relates to Mary.
and so MUZ is christian.
they do so to PROVE that a christian queen was a prominent figure there.
Even, some documents of the public works department of British Goverment in India, refer same way, though ASI rejects it.😆
See Same administration, 2 departments, both at loggerheads.😆

Why don't anyone asks them if Mariam Zamani was christian due to logic of her being having a name of Mariam. Then, why not Akbar's own mother, Mariam Makani, is also called christian. They seem to EXPOSE and RAISE the facts, that suit their theory.

They have even claimed MUZ palace in Fatehpur Sikri to be the palace of Christian Wife of Akbar.😆.
The more u will read the more interesting and funny it becomes.😆
Infact, it seems to "ME" after reading various docs, that they undertook conservation efforts of MUZ palaces in Agra and Fatehpur Sikri because they thought it be a christian wife.

Infact, i am going to have a separate thread on this also,(most probably next one)
Will prove to be quite entertaining..😃

The million dollar question..>>they want MUZ to be christian..and also say she was Bharmal's Daughter...🤣..what they want..??.

take biggest example of the person who translated akbar's book(which book i will update here, i think akbarnama.)(name of author not in my mind...how many names can i learn😕), and while mentioning MUZ there, he says,
"she was christian wife.😆 and then separately, in the references section he says, fact is disputed,😆 since she was bharmal's daughter.."

Some have even gone to the extent of creating Mariam part2😆.
It is really interesting.
as i wrote in my thread..
Dutch say, she was of Caucasian origin.😆
Italians say, she was an Armenian. 😆
Portuguese say, she was Portuguese.😆
English say, she was Catholic Christian.😆

BUT ALL MAINTAIN in unanimity that, A queen by name Mariam Uz Zamani was a very prominent figure.
And, this suits our purpose.
👍🏼

they want all 3 things TOGETHER -->> "muz+christian wife+ favourite wife"...all in 1.
is it possible.??😆
infact, atleast the 2nd condition is not possible, as far as i know..

wonderful post!! 👏👏
Finally read it poora... i will say once again, that hard-work you put in to this is truly phenomenal. This is something i haven't read anywhere.

People say ruqs or salima were the fav, but hardly any potraits of them are found anywhere.

Though we are still speculating, MUZ does seem the clear fav. With the amount of monuments, buildings and buzz she generated, she must be the one. 👍🏼

Hi..😊

I also thought it likeways😆, but found after careful scrutiny, that this is MUZ with Akbar.
The picture also bore the inscription in Persian, by there name.😊

Also, this picture was published in the Statesman newspaper on 14th November, 1916, after due confirmation.(i do not know, it's correct or not, but the professor who is assisting me on this, has also confirmed the same. He even told me this date.😕.) To be more precise, this picture was published in the Kolkata edition of Statesman newspaper.😊.

Moreover, journals and papers have been framed EXCLUSIVELY on this topic.😊.Even i have mentioned name of a journal from Asiatic Society of Bengal.😊
Also, it can be verified from the book i mentioned in my post, with citations. The book was wriiten quite early.

I am told this picture created a "FURORE."!!😊.It can be imagined by seeing it. Such was the case that it was printed in the most prominent newspaper of India at that time😲!!.

On another note, if you visit the Fatehpur Sikri, and go through the chronicles there😊(though it will take HUGE time.😕), clearly, you will get to know about MUZ in reality, her status and power and influence.😊 She was regarded as the most beautiful lady of his time.(as per chronicles)😉...And, till date, there is no picture where she is old😃(atleast, i have not seen such a picture). Infact, she is only 22 days older, or nearly same age.

Again, i agree an Empress could not dress as provocatively, but again, who knows that, the picture was for their private use. And, quite possible, later it came out.😊
I wrote what i read, after due verifications.😊

i want to know what is salim's reaction at his parents picture((espicially mom)... usually sons are more possessive of mothers...he would have torn the picture off for sure and fought with daddy akbar 😆
better still how did this picture miss aurangzebs eyes he would have put painter in jail and burnt this pic before anyone else can see it 😊😃
that is why i had doubt this must be his younger wife/cocubbine
Jodha being a rajput princess and an indian would never dress so provocative Shocked

Hi.😊

I posted this topic here to discuss, only the "dignified inscription", which this picture bore in Persian meaning -> "Glory of the Faith: Akbar with Mariam Zamani Begum".

It really, is a testimony to-->>
1. Her exalted status in Akbar's life.
2. The dignity and respect she commanded.
3. Also, the good relationship she shared with him.

First of all, We all do not know, if this pic was for their private use, as i said before. And, as i said this appears to be a casual dress. It appears, it is for them only. Who knows why and how was it painted.

Also, being from a highly dignified royal family, she would not have dressed in such a manner, but again, i reiterate my point, it seems, this picture was their use only, and being his wife, i do not want to say anything on their private life. Infact, i am not authorized to comment. She is with her husband, so i do not feel it is a ERROR of any folly from her.
Also, it is ONLY an artistic representation, a picture, not any REAL HD IMAGE or VIDEO.😃
We all know, she was a dignified lady. Again the picture proves their good relation, contrary to what people claim.😊

Now, after them, how this picture reached here without catching Aurangzeb's eyes or what would Salim think, is beyond myself commenting. I do not consider myself fit to give a reason.😊Also, she is with her husband, not any one else, so there is no problem, as far as i feel.

Again i reiterate, my ONLY point in starting this thread was to make people know about the status she had enjoyed and not mislead by silly and random articles on Internet. 😊

I need not speak, This INSCRIPTION speaks, a lot about them, itself..😊..

" Glory of the Faith: Akbar with Mariam Zamani Begum "👍🏼
