beautiful post, for me, i like that amer night scene, where jalal, jodha and the cute little sis were all present. It was a beautiful combo of every feelings.it started with jodha coming to jalal and he replies her b4 asking that she came to ask something. He understood her well of that😛, she continues as that coming to temple with her may affect him politically. he replies not to worry. It showed jalal pacifies her not to be afraid and it was soothing as well. Then a sudden shock experience, she went directly to his bed and sits near him, and rotating her eyes, it was 😉. Wen he was confused and asked wat happened, she signalled to be silent😛, it was too too good and he again in soft tone asked wat happened❤️ , it made my day😳. The cute little sis conversation and her laugh and smile wen jalal explained about the guzze princess and joyful king, wah wah😃, i was all the way showing my entire teeth. I will see it again and again, no matter how many times😳
Ok now that weekend is here, will write on the scenes again.
Yes a very good scene you wrote about. This scene was warm and cozy, very husband and wifely type of scene specially when you consider the strange relationship Jalal and Jodha share.
She comes to the room and without even looking up Jalal knows its Jodha and even before she could say anything he asks her what does she want to ask! As if they are married for 20 or more years! 😃
She asks the question whether it will create problem in his kingdom for his going to the temple and he immediately asks her if someone has said anything to her or not. I know Jodha said no but I want to know what if she had said 'yes' and narrated what Maham told her in anger. But Jodha if talking about Maham had to be diplomatic, something like she did when she went and apologized to Jalal, Maham, Hamida Bano and every one else in Amer. Not just simply and bluntly say what she had to.
Then the moment she heard noises out side their room without any hesitation or thought she went and sat beside him! Again so much comfort level she had! 😃 Then without even looking at him she takes the dagger and opens it for protection. And somehow I feel she was not concerned about her own protection but for Jalal's.
And the way she shushed him when he asked her what happened was too good, so wife like! 😆 And to match it Jalal lowers his voice and asks so cozily again what happened Jodha begum? I loved his voice modulation there, it made me grin big time. 😃
Jodha gestures him to go out and speculate and he gives a wary look at her and then looks at the door and walks out.
The moment he calls out to Jodha and says they have been attacked the panic is straightaway written on her face and she runs to take a look. Again the panic is for Jalal I guess.
After that what follows always makes me think this is how their future will be, Jalal sprawled on the bed with all their children lying around and on top of him and he telling them stories and Jodha looking on with amazement, amusement and love. 😃
She really admires him with those kids and his way of story telling. She knew he was talking about her and objected and the moment Jalal put her on the spot asking her if she knew the story and if she wants to narrate it she back tracked saying 'no' and he so casually continued. Jalal in that scene had no aura of being a Shahensha, he was just like a common dad with his kids. The teasing attitude he had I so miss nowadays. On purpose he was trying to tease and banter Jodha.
And for the second time he made her laugh so heartily, seeing her laughter I loved the look and the moment he has to himself grinning at his victory, pleasure and effort to make her laugh and then he goes on to pull her leg more about her laughter to his little sister-in-laws.
He was civil and decent to Jodha's mom when she came to bade them good night and asked if he could sleep on that bed along with the kids. That was really big for a Shahensha to consent to who is always accustomed to sleep all by himself (well when he wants to 😃) on his huge bed with no disturbance and sharing and here he was constricted with all his 'saalis'. Jodha hesitatingly said yes to her mom about the sleeping arrangement because I think even she must have been wondering whether Jalal will be able to sleep with so many kids or not.
After Mainavati left I loved Jalal following Jodha with eyes minutely when she came to spread the bed sheet on him and the kids and his quiet bidding her good night. I wish Jodha wished him back too but her haughty look was back.
Overall the scene was good because it was so homely, snug and cozy. As I said, it made them look like a real family and couple. 😃
