[QUOTE=jyoti06 U know I hv always been defending Jodha all this while but where I did see her wrong today was the way Jalal acts and the way Jodha reacts
Jalal accused Jodha in private but made sure noone finds out about it .. then he goes straight to Salima begum who is most neutral candidate to seek advice and there he tells her both sides of the story ..his as well as Jodha ka version ...
Had he consulted Salima Begum even before accusing Jodha, yes, we could hav ecalled him an angle but he didn't do that instead immediately after the ceremony (Maulvi's ashirvachan) he marched with tight face and screamed takliya and without even seeing her face shot her with verbal bullets "who was the father of the child you are raring in your womb". As viweres we know both sides of the coin but for them it is only one side which is facing them. She was not even in her bightmare, (though she had not slept the previous day thnking about his cheat and mean act of lust,) she would have thought that he willaccuse her of infidility. And did she had anyone to confine that news with apart fro Moti who is her childhood friend who happen to be from the lower rank and hence turned up as daasi????? Jalal ha a lot of people to share his grief and missery but for Jodha, she has only Moti.
How can any woman go to her MIL and confine in her that your son is suspecting my charecter? Do you think it took hours to reach Hamida when the aim itself was to make it reach her ears. For all probability, MA would have reached Hamida directly from Jodha's mahal. So do you think Jodha had time to mull over the matter and go to her sasuma for justice? Moreover, it is difficult for any lady to digest the fact that her husband doubts her charecter and she will not even be able to repeat those words boldly forget about complaining. Moreover when her husband publicly acknowledge the child has his heir...how will she go to his own mother and says his bitter words...
1. He agreed in front of the crowd to the fact and accepted congratulations.
2. When confronted in front of Ruqaiya, hsi most beloved and trusted wife, he agreed that he slept wih her.
3. Over and above all these, he accepted to the god (while praying under the HOLY chaddar) that it is his child. How on the earth, she or anyone can even believe The pois man like Jalal would even lie to GOD and if he is capable of lying to god, what is so surprising factor that he had not lied to Jodha.
Knowing his nature to flare up instantaniously towards unjustice, cheat etc and having been watched him doing that, why will she believe that he must have masked the truth just to save her skin and his dignity? Had he not acted impulsively during Faridha case, when she was impregnanted by some one else?
I am really surprised at her late reaction and her dignity to ask him to stop talking any further. Had it been my husband who uttered those words, I will swear he would have lost few teeth, no sooner than he closed his mouth.
