Padmini and Sanyogita both died sad deaths...

Thankfully Heer Kunwari had a good life!

I am not calling her death beautiful, I am calling her stunningly beautiful.

episode was happening and it moved thankfully and this heroine does not sit in one corner wailing buckets hoping for divine intervention but decided to fight for her honour...it was fast paced ...i liked it ..even Jalal was not sulking in one corner besides his deemag ki batthi was working

Yup...it was a good epi...I liked the pace...I also liked JJ scene...it was jodha's monologue...but...the dialogues were good and sensible...the crux was 'i seek justice'...'I am not characterless'

Sunny,again, I agree...😆

Why? It was a political marriage, and so long as she did not have cross eyes and/or buck teeth, it should have been ok.😉 And since when has Ekta Kapoor become an accredited historian? I am surprised she actually reads anything!

Look, young ladies, you are all a bunch of certified and hopeless romantics. There is no harm in kidding yourselves about anything you want to if it makes you happy. But the truth is that Akbar was not at all like either Hrithik or Rajat, and there is no reason why Jodha/Harka Bai/Heer Kunwari has to be anything like Aishwarya or Paridhi. Jalal did not see her at mela, like Romeo seeing Juliet across a room, and fall for her, did he?

She was probably passable looking and as there are no portraits of her, we have no way of knowing even that. And as for the multitalented part, that too might be the figment of fhe imagination of the author of one of those Govt-approved books Lashy is always citing!!😉

As for our Ms. Walk on Water, I see that she is back with her pinched face, her ranting about Jalal having taken advantage of her, and her ghrina. I am amazed at the total lack of self-consciousness with which she demands complete trust from her husband. while giving him no trust in return.

Alas for you young folks!

Even I've read all this but the loveliest of them all was Padmini & Sanyogita. 😳 But Jodha had to be stunning!

I do not know, Suvi dear. I found all this eye-rolling by the harem folk and by Mahaam, Jodha's harangue and Hamida's bhashan all very predictable and boring. The only sensible part was the one between Jalal and Salima.

Jodha of course does not see any inconsistency in demanding that her husband trust her on her word alone, while she does not extend any of same faith to him or his word. He on the other hand at least thinks over what she tells him and goes so far as to consult Salima about it. Jodha merely wallows in her mantra of moorchit hone ke fayda uthaya.

Do Jalal's honour and his word have no value, but Jodha's word has to be believed without question (that she is innocent is something we know., not Jalal). Even of Jodha had been a Jezebel, she would have cried the same way and made the same assertions of innocence. In fact more vehemently and convincingly. Why should he believe her?

It is all melodramatic tripe, and I for one do not see any epic love story coming out of this. As Lashy says, as soon as Jalal has proved her innocence, she will go back to her arrogant, sneering ways.
