South Indian language has a peculiar tone that makes their hindi sound funny... but I have to admit, South Indians speak the most fluent and the most correct English. Even the Rickshaw Pullers and Panwalas are very fluent in English...😲 Something you will find very rare in North India.

Y'day I was at my neighbourhood chemist shop. This old lady stopped me & asked me which is better between Fair & lovely & some Garnier bright white cream. I kept staring at her. And then she started explaining, Stating she wants it for her grand-daughter & "Aap to dood jaise ho aur wo kaali to in mein se Kaun so acchi cream hain beta?"

Chemist : "Aunty jee kaali toh, Kaali Maata bhi hain"

Best reply to utter stupidity. 🤣

there is a peculiar tone just like any other place , but then they have generalised it and the amount of mocking in movies..it really is no longer funny

the oil thing i never understood. I mean,yes,we do apply oil. But once a week and then immediate shower. 😕 I dunno,i havent really seen that much of tamil nadu or kerala.but im sure,this oil thing really doesnt exist the way its been shown.andhra i have been to quite a few times. the oil funda is seriously just not done.

eventhough I love DP...and the film too...the way the SI were made to speak in hindi...that accent...was just dumb and insulting! 😕
