No Sonia...I just heard that as a Mughal he followed Sharia law - where the victim is the one who has full power to choose the punishment or at the same time has it in her capacity to forgive/pardon the culprit if she wants...So, when he knows BB is wrong, he wants her to be punished..(yet, he's torn as a brother which we can see)When Jodha (the victim) asks him to forgive BB, he's trying to convince her not to do so since that'd be their failure as a king/queen...so, he's asking Jo to punish BB...though he is pained by it all..😊

has it ever written anywhere, that any person can be changed by punishing them? why they should fail as king and queen if they don't punish BB? I mean i don't know what Shariya Law is. so I m asking? I didn't get the failure part.
as far as Jodha is concerned, then she will try to be human first then a queen, so she will punish anybody (except Jalal) is not possible. she will always try to sudhrofy ppl, including Jalal. hasn't he understood it yet after her so many lectures? 😉
Yes...it'll be a failure because it will set a precedent - it means loved/close ones to Jalal and Jodha will be able to continue perpetrating crimes and as long as they act like they repent, they can escape punishment...Its for this very reason Akbar faced problems from his family...his sisters, his brothers-in-law, his doodh-brother - all of them kept revolting/wanted a part of his empire...inspite of the fact that he'd given them important positions in administration. Also, BB clearly told Jodha that if the situation arose again, she'd commit the same mistake - because she loves her husband more than anyone else. Why forgive such a person? The least that can be done is to banish her. One shouldn't be too cruel or too forgiving when meting justice...both evils will be the downfall of a monarch! Taking decisions judiciously is possibly the most apt way one can ensure an able monarchy in the long term😊

our Jodha is Ekta's lady. so BB is surely forgiven. Poor Jalal 😭

Every Law has a loop hole for the culprit. And Jalal has found the perfect Defense Lawyer for his sister in Jodha. After all culprit ko bhi insaaf dena hoga na 😆
