about ruqaiyya ...she and her ego refuses to accept anything ..and halal knew she would be fuming and it was nice of him to come and try talk to her in the morning ...he knows ruqaiyya very well...for all we know he was simply amusing himself at her expense but it was good that he did not share what he did with jodha though as a viewer i so wanted to know what did they talk the entire night😆

one possible reason for him to ask if she is jealous maybe coz he wants to see if she has wife in him or is it all about mallka e bimbo...look at the way he tells her i will not try to anger the mallika e khans not hamari ruqaiyya beghum ...vast difference ...he craves for affection and he thought since she is his family and oldest friend he could find it in her ..unaware that care,concern ,jealousy are all bound to heart and love...and this he may soon learn the hard way if the pregnancy track comes to play

jodha being touched by another..jalal will burn down the world and go insane in fury ...now that my dear friend is jealousy...

the court scene was brilliant as well...saw an Emperor who has swell placed head on his shoulder ...and his deewangee and junoon for jodha will never affect that ...

One more reason has jjust occurred to em: could it also be that jalal himself being very attracted to Jodha is now using Ruq as a measurement gauge? If Ruq is jealous then would that help him evaluate his own feelings for Jodha ie. to see if Jodha means so much to him that his other begums are sensing the change in him?

Its like sometimes we are not sure whether to make a particular choice, and we try to get other's feelings - positive or even negative - just so that in our minds we know if we have already fully decided on the choice ourselves or not?

The parts I especially resonate with are that Ruq is saying Jodha will soon sit in a corner waiting for Jalal who will never reappear in her bedroom at nights ... but that's just what Ruq fears for herself, isn't it? That she herself may become that discard and that too without audha?

I also loved what you wrote about Jalal and Jodha both looking for a "real family" and thus finding each other!

And regarding the pregnancy track, I realise that there will be many different theories and opinions on this subject and my own idea is just one of the many possibilities. So let's wait and see ...

So he is in dilemma and about his chang in attitude and the way he gives importance to JOdha despite her cold shouldering are bothering him. He knows both his mind and eyes are acting on their own and are not listening to his voice of wisdom and are running marathans towards Jodha. He wants to know why his mind acts like a Moth attarcted by light wheneveer he see Jodha and why he rushes to her side without his knowledge which he had not done so far even with ruqaiya.
