I would grant you all that, Pallavi, but the fact remains that both that scene, especially given the way Jodha snaps sarcastically at him, as if he was some chokra who had sneaked into her rooms (she even gets up only as an afterthought, and this is her patidev! What sanskaars is she talking about?), and the payal part the day before, make him look like a besotted chokra. Not like a Shahenshah, though he is so fond of repeating that to her and others.

As I wrote once before, it is not enough for him to keep saying that he is a Shahehshah. He has to behave like one - be commanding, imperious, maybe wrongheaded and abrupt at times, but never brooking impertinence or contradiction from anyone. This Jalal is not in the least like an emperor the way he is bullied by both his begums.

At this rate, he will soon begin to resemble one of the standard issue male leads in the Balaji soaps, and that will be the end of Jodha Akbar, for it stands or falls on Rajat's Jalal. Jodha cannot sustain it alone even for a week.

Aunty I have just seen the last epi, and yes I don't know why hamida asked Jodha what Jalal did was right or wrong?/ What does she know about politics and all??😕

Anyway I think some people are mad at Jalal as why he himself went to look for his dagger when he has plenty of servants who always present there to help him in every way. well, I don't know whether I am right or wrong but I assume that servants keep account of those things what shahensha handed them like his headgear after finishing his court's duty, ornaments, dresses, shoes, etc. But he doesn't part with two thing one is his sword and the other is that dagger, Even if for sometime like when he sleeps or visits his begums he be part with his sword, but the dagger always remains with him. And this dagger saved his and Jodha's life from our beloved late Mohan, not to forget..😉..

May be that's why he didn't ask any servant to find it out because they possibly don't know how it looks like, and may be most of the people in those time used to keep a dagger with them always for safety..

The singing part needed some more effort, Jodha needs to open her mouth a little more when she is hitting the c note

When you watch an episode only for the last 4 minutes with a kid, it is a danger signal.

As for the forum being asleep, I do not know, but I am getting detached from the whole of it. Jodha and Hamida are both equally predictable and very boring, Jalal oscillates between fulsome admiration of Jodha Begum, like an adoring puppy wagging its tail at its master, and occasional flashes where he remembers who he is - not her obsessed husband alone but an emperor.

I would not be surprised if today they show Jalal blowing up coloured balloons for Jodha's birthday party, and anachronism be damned.

Not even Rajat's star power and undoubted acting prowess can save most of his scenes with Jodha from making my eyes glaze over.

The show now is only for the deewaanis of Jalal-Jodha to gush over them. Not for those like me.

By the way, why does Jalal have to call her Jodha Begum in EVERY single sentence he utters to her? Is he is making sure he remembers it or does he think she is is danger of having forgotten it?😉 It is bizarre.

😆😆..you are right, I am no longer find interest when I think that in this way they will end up showing some cheesy love moments between JJ and then a MU track then again lovey dovey scenes then again Mu and so on. you know I basically hate when a husband and a wife don't trust each other and take seriously outsiders words the most. What a relationship is that when there is no trust and faith on each other.🤢..

And above all, it's winter time, time of picnic and trips.it's high time to do outdoor shoots the most. what are they doing inside the set??😡..just go and do some outdoor shooting in this soothing, pleasant, bright sunny weather, idiot Cvs, the whole summer is left there to do indoor shooting..

Especially in the mohan episode..After every sentence jalal said jodha begam..

Why can't he just call her jodha?

I'm sure some dhamaka is going to happen today.. 😆

Weekend shock.

Jodha will say "how dare you spell my name in this ashovaniya way???"😆😆

In last epi have you seen when Rahim ran a few steps, he turned his neck left and it was so clear from his gesture that someone must gave him hand signal to go back to Jalal and then he went back to Jalal to seek promise from him, 😆😆..

Yes so so true!! It grates on my nerves too that Jalal calls her Jodha Begum all the time!! Why can't he just call her Jodha in private or with near family? Like their Ammi Jaan?

He calls Ruqaiyya , Ruqaiyya in private all the time.

Me thinks it is his obsession.. So that he can savour anew that he is married to Jodha BEGUM!

actually cvs loosing balance in between romance and imperial issues, in every epi they should maintain the balance, and moreover they are lacking some vital scenes like bakshi-hamida convo, jalal-hamida convo, hamida-ruqaiya convo, ruqaiyaa-gulbadan convo, bakshi-jalal convo and many more..😕

Oh I didn't know. Looks like Rahim needs to learn a few hints from the Chotti-fauj, they're seamless in their coordination . 😆
