About this religious issue...
Can someone please ask be it Jalal, Jodha or Hamida or Maham to the maulvis, who are they giving punishment to, the Shahensha or a husband?

As an emperor he left his crown, symbol of supreme authority, and his power, the sword behind before he entered the temple. He went in as a simple man, as a husband following his wife to the temple...then how can the Shahensha be punished for it? And who knows what he did inside the temple? Nobody was there to relate other than Jodha's maids who will not open their mouth and neither will the priest...so who knows what he did there!?

And if a husband accompanies his wife, that is duty and responsibility and no body can say anything.

So why will Jodha be penalized for something her husband did? And if they have problem then they should have rejected the marriage proposal along with the conditions right before the marriage instead of coming up with objections now. If a woman had to convert first then the Mughal Sultanate shouldn't have agreed to the conditions laid before instead of creating an upheaval later.

My 2 cents! But would love to hear the answers to my questions.

I absolutely agree with you, he fulfill his duties as a husband and if he was being punished to fulfill his husband duties as a shahenshah than where are his priority right as Badshah????? And one thing that you mentionned clearly all the soldiers and ministers of Jalal has been waiting for them outside the temple and there were no one of mughal member inside the temple than who and how came they have been informed of it????? And jodhaa clearly said infront of all when her dadisa asked to take jalal with her to the temple "parantu dadisa shahenshah humara matlab hai unka darm" and all the ministers and people of mughal sultanat were present!!!!!! So why jodhaa has to pay for something she didn't even did!!! She is paying for the consequence of something she didn't even did by being forced to do something against her wish that's to convert in to islam!!!! And last thing is you practised a religion in which you are really devoted to and deeply believe in it not by being force it isn't a JOKE OR TOY to not being take seriously!!!!!

Nice post.
Agree with you no body forced jalaal to go to the temple with jodha. What maulvi's saying doesn't makes any sense.
