Jodha did convert into islam but not knowing what was the reason that she took such decision becos all have different version to its stories...but the confirm fact is she did convert but she remain devotee of lord krishna n follow hindu rituals...till her death...her son did her last rites in islamic way becos she convert to islam religion n jehangir born to hindu-muslim parents mostly followed his father's footsteps since he is emperor n he wants his son to be like him...but that doesn't mean jehangir doesn't know abt hindu rituals...sure jodha being his mother taught him hindu rituals n introduce him to her fav god lord krishna...I read abt jehangir that he respects both his parents religion n knows abt lord krishna n bhagvat gita just like his father taught him quran n muslim rituals

Hindu funeral rituals doesn't mean only cremation all the time...if the dead person wished to be buried as his last wish...the body can be buried too...n even make a tomb...well I say it from my personal witness to my uncle's funeral...his last wish was being buried n his sons fulfill his wish...n he was born hindu n a devotee of lord shiva

Agree with you religion should be accepted by heart but not force fully. I think jalaal will support jodha.

To affableana. ..yaar not every hindus does cremation...some do burial too...my personal witness...my uncle body was buried becos of his last wish...he was hindu n a devotee of lord shiva...in singapore we do have hindu burial grounds...where there are hindus being buried n a tomb made by the family as a memorial...but only gents allow there...strictly by hindu law womens are not allow there...

I too think that a religion must be accepted from heart and not forcefully bear it... Islam is one of the most free religion, and contains very free and independent views that are missing in many other religions. Too bad some people are twisting quran and using it for their own benefits, however that is a discussion for another time... The Ulemas' here, are acting like hypocrites, they just want to stay in focus(much like our Karni Sena Protesters...😆)... It is funny how they are giving him lessons on Islam, while they try to ignore the more fundamentals lessons.

Jodha has to accept it, there is no other way. Sh must feel indebted to shehenshah for Sukanya's marriage... or perhaps the insistence of Ruku(this one scares me a lot... she hits people😆), Maham, or some other begums.

Obviously Holy Quran never says to convert anyone frm different religion to Islam forcefully..if any different religion person wants to convert Islam,definitely she/he will accept it frm wholeheartedly..but i won't deny in my Islam today also, some ulamas,maulanas create problems taking the name of Holy Islam which never vouches Holy Quran.
Anyways, if jodha is converted Islam forcefully then it wl b a big injustice with jodha n Islam never vouches this type injustice..i think only jalal wl find out the solution of this chaos.
