Well said ππΌThanks dearie...π³I realize there were only purdahs then, but Mothi and Resham randomly walking in and out of Shehenshah's tent was funny too!Seriously how do the guards stationed outside not see random people peeking into the tent??π€ Motibai can be excused because she had gone to crush the lep and didnt know everyone else had left.Tell me about it!πI hope there hasn't been any "body-warmth" I dont want SR with unconscious Jodha π That would be so disappointing πBody warmth is only lying barely-clothed next to another person...one person's exposed skin touches another's and thus the warmth from one person's body keeps the other person warm...the same effect cannot be achieved by wrapping the cold person in clothes since the cold person's body doesn't generate enough heat at the required rate - more heat is generated by skin-skin contact...π This might be embarrassing, but its not sex...hope it wasn't TMI...just in case you had a doubt, I wanted to clarify...π³Thanks for your comments dear...π€

2 things lashy kanna,
1. Body heatAs much as its unnecessary am thinking they are using this as a way for Jodha to start realizing that the guy is far more decent than her thinking is...There was a situation that he could've used to exercise his conjugal rights. Helps building the trustYou know what Anu...after every bout of Jo's outbursts we keep giving this form of excuse..only for her to do one more bursting out...good-looking or not, I'd never be able to stay even for a moment with such a person who was filled with negativity towards me all the timeif he had to he had many other incidents before this too to take advantage of her...how much more he has to do for her to realize he's not going to take advantage of her...I'm not able to buy it...the CVs are ruining her charm...2.Jodha's attitudeI think a lot of what Ruqqu/Maham said about Jalaal tossing out a begum once he's "checked her out"... is affecting the way in which she reacts when he comes close. She wants to first establish a relationship where they know each other better,,,,, which also explains Maham's happiness over the body heat plan..True...but, where is she trying to know him better..where is she talking normally with him at all...today, he started speaking about bachpan, qila etc...she could have at least probed into that...π he seems to know about all her hobbies, she only seems to focus on his negative traits (except for the incident where she defended himπ)Sorry I'm not able to see good in Jo today, I'm bored of her reactions I think... she doesn't need to be friendly, but why always act like a foe...there is something called middle-ground too...One thing I don't understand is body heat is just a theraphy, not necessarify for the hubby to provide and why they reacted as if they are gonna have a suhaag raatπI laughed and laughed at this line π€£ body heat requires some amount of stripping therefore the kusur pusur..πRT brings out the fangirl in meπIn me too...πI'm sure Ekta realizes it too - if not, there's no reason for her to picturize RT in that English fur coat with hair flying back and BGM etc for 5 full mins (like he was a supermodel or something!)π€£By the waaay Hi5! We got Jalaal recollecting the ganganur episode! if not completely, atleast bits of it! Looks like we do need to putup a wishlist sticky!Yup...only to be dragged down by Jo's 'toofan' dialogue...π

Lashy my dear, That this post is beautifully done, both in detail and in tone, is by now a given. As both of us seem to be pretty much on the same wavelength as to the point up to which we liked this episode, I can safely voice my candid assessment of it here.
Thanks auntyπ³π€The rest of the forum seems to be in a body heat situation , 99% of them, judging from the number of posts with those 2 words in the title, so they can hardly be expected to see beyond that.Loool...I don't know if you probed into any of them though..more than half is worried about how the Suhaag Raat (as they fear it) that's going to happen tomorrow is not consensual! When in actuality it's as far away from all of it as possible...π
After the conversation between Jalal and Jodha about why the Ratanpur fort is so important to him, plus the first few minutes in the tent, the whole episode went steadily downhill.πIt was artifcially and stagily constructed - why the devil did he not drag the idiotic female in by main force and barbecue her in front of the fire? Then dumped her on the bed, flung all the bedclothes on her and left her to her own devices?π His patience is larger than the average man's when it comes to his chudail Shehzaadi...
But for Rajat's star power and exceptional mastery of facial nuance - the way he looks at the sleeping Jodha is like an illustration for aching tenderness - it would have sunk into something from a 1970s film about a couple married only in name (usually because the wife was expecting a child outside marriage, and had been rescued from a suicide attempt). His expressions were amazing...so touching...π³Poor Paridhi, she has no chance at all to do anything worthwhile. She ought to go on a hunger strike against such scenarios. An angel like her is being wasted ...she is capable of so much more...doesn't make sense - her character seemed far better just after their marriage...why is her role so stagnant now?π
And all this rubbish just when I had thought that at last, after the noble generosity that Jalal had displayed, there might have been some move towards friendship and some intelligent conversation between them. But no, there is not a single good line written for Jodha. She has no word of appreciation for what Jalal had just done. She has no empathy for what he tells her about his boyhood at Ratanpur, not a single interested comment, or question about how he felt then. Nothing. She bustles is, asks her stereotypical questions, like a chartered accountant rather than a woman whose sister's wedded life has just been saved by this husband of hers, and then sashays out .Does she care for him? I'm confused - or is it still only at the level that one human would care for another human stranger...π
It might have ended up like that famous scene in Gone with the Wind when Rhett picks Scarlett up and carries her up the stairs, leaving the rest to the imagination of the 1940s readers. Remember Scarlett's reaction the next morning? Jodha might well have felt the same.Obviously we're all glad that Jalal is going to do no such thing...my personal opinion (as I'm sure is your's aunty) is that however the wife/husband and whatever their relationship, Rhett Butler's act that evening shouldn't be romanticized though it does seem to be a catching trend in Tv/Movies!
proved Newton's law of gravity by demonstrating that what had gone up - the quality of the last 2 episodes - had necessarily to come down
π€£A DDLJ scene parallel, is it? Proper filmy stuff this...π There was nothing of this body warmth nonsense in DDLJ, Simran was just sozzled. Come to think of it, it might do Jodha some good to get pickled, good and proper!Body warmth - I've typed and written so much on it, its losing in charm in reality now...πNo, this is often done for those exposed to acute cold, chilled to the bone and in danger of collapsing. The husband part is because it obviously cannot, unlike mouth to mouth ressuscitation, be done with all your clothes on.I know...but, strangely enough this skin-skin contact as a solution for hypothermia seems to be seen and utilized only in Indian TV and nowhere else...much like the many Indian comedy of errors revolving twins separated in khumb melas (like it happened in every other streetπ)Next we'll see doctors prescribe this as the remedy for common colds and instances when hypothermia(???) was caused by ACs being forgotten to be switched off π
Loved todays episode. The first part was just awesome..and Jalalππ
The precap think he's pulling her leg.π
his looks when he was staring at jodha was to die for
